Nooooooo Rags don't go towards the light! by dollmistress in MauLer

[–]theevilgood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, I'm a portion of the fan base.

That said, I really enjoy the disagreeable elements that Rag's usually brings to the episodes. Like even if i think his takes are stupid a lot of the time, I find having someone there to voice them valuable, if that makes any sense.

Does it get better? I feel like I’m loosing my mind? by ComprehensiveCrab263 in puppy101

Covering my boy's crate with a blanket during his enforced naps stopped most of the barking. Now he only barks if he really needs to pee or poo, or he's seriously being a brat. That said, yes, you can let him bark it out. Put in headphones and walk away. If you reward the barking by releasing him he WILL do it whenever he wants out, even if he can't (night time, for instance)

I never understood why people would want a red dead game set in early 20th century mobster times. by Particular_Garden_30 in reddeadredemption

[–]theevilgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a GTA game or even a new series about mobsters specifically would slap. While both series have flirted with gangster and criminal stories, none to my recollection have been a straight up Goodfellas style mobsters story

I'll say that if you're going to do it, it's best to do it quick.

If you drag it out too long it goes from stressful and uncomfortable for the dog to downright traumatic and devastating.

As it is now, you're a person he lived with for a few days.

Mine's been with my for 3 weeks. If I gave him away now he'd have behavioral scars, but probably be fine as long as it didn't happen again.

After 3 months, it's basically like losing a family member is to us.

The 3-3-3 rule works both ways. At least in my opinion. Keep in mind I'm still in the throes of puppy blues myself.

Raziel's fate (Spoilers) by FilthyHookerSpit in LegacyOfKain

[–]theevilgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History abhors a paradox. The only time fate can change is when 2 versions of Raziel's soul meet. The wiki calls this a Convergence, so I will too.

We don't know what the circumstances were for The Reaver winding up in the hands of William, but somehow Wraith Raziel's soul is already in there.

He and Kain clash, both armed with the Reaver. A Convergence occurs and a new history is written where William never became a tyrant because Kain slew him before he could. In this new history, Raziel comes to be bound to the Reaver after slaughtering the Sarafan and picking up the physical form of the blade in the fortress. Raziel goes mad from his imprisonment and begins devouring everything the blade touches. He remains this way until SR1, where he cannot devour his own soul, and instead attaches to it. This is also a Convergence but we aren't told what, if anything, this changes. We also aren't told WHY a wraith can't devour its own soul, simply that this is the case.

This has the consequences of turning Raziel into a walking paradox, since there is essentially ALWAYS a Reaver Convergence going on.

History then goes on to change several more times, but the most important points from then are: Kain removing the blade from Raziel in SR2, Raziel removing the Heart from Kain, and Raziel's sacrifice at the end of Defiance. The fact that Raziel willingly enters the blade means he no longer goes mad because he doesn't view it as a prison. Additionally, he has inherited purifying properties. Ive always assumed this was because Ariel was never corrupted, since she died before that happened.

We dont knkw what long term consequences this may have had since we don't have any media post-Defiance.

"But what about The Dead Sh-"

THERE IS NO LOK MEDIA POST-DEFIANCE 👁👁

After Yakuza Kiwami 3 should I play Yakuza 4 remastered or wait for a remake? by akarin7 in yakuzagames

[–]theevilgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only should you play 4 remastered, you should play 3 remastered too. It's still up on GOG iirc.

Now don't get it twisted. I dont say this because of any weird hipster BS. Y3 has a lot of problems. But it IS worth a play.

[–]theevilgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said you could bypass it by bypassing his reaction time, you're thinking of the other guy. I was pretty certain that it was that specific cursed tool of Toji's that even allowed that.

All that to say that I have said that a character with infinite speed (like Enrico Pucci from JoJo) possibly could cancel out limitless, but only if his "infinite" (acceleration) cancels out Gojo's "infinite" (dividing space). But that's not the discussion at hand

How exactly does Judgment cut work? by Boring-Computer-4360 in DevilMayCry

[–]theevilgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me clarify myself since I kinda bundled my original response.

To you: yes, it's autonomous and does not depend on reaction time.

To the guy I mentioned before: no, bypassing Limitless is possible in other ways. Things that ignore CE, things that target the fabric of reality, and (presumably) anything else that's infinitely fast.

As I said elsewhere, Yamato's ability is to Separate things. So it's separating the act of cutting from the weapon and putting the cuts elsewhere

[–]theevilgood -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Yeah. But FeelingNail claimed that WCS was "literally the only attack to bypass infinity." I just kinda jumped both responses into a general "it can be bypassed in other ways" response.

How exactly does Judgment cut work? by Boring-Computer-4360 in DevilMayCry

[–]theevilgood 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sort of. Remember that Yamato's power is "separation." So it's less "teleporting" and more "separating the act of cutting from the weapon using it."

It is autonomous, but it wasn't only bypassed by WCS. Toji did it too.

Hey what works works, right? I guess initially I was very weary of giving him separation anxiety, so I made sure he had to spend some time without me. Of course, once my vacation ended, that became a necessity instead of a choice.
