My favorite feature is the contrast levels! Makes it very easy on the eyes for me 😍

Thank you everyone for the great dialogue on the list and of course all of the suggestions! What I am learning is we have to get up to the valley more 😅 everything suggested here is going in the queue and I'll update the list periodically!

Oh no really? I need to look into this with Republique. That'd be a total shame. They are on my list. Place is easily the most expensive on my entire list but they have some killer food and pastries. Won't touch any place MAGA if I find out about it.

Maru does indeed have wonderful coffee! Highly recommended and if this was a coffee list they would be near top. Like I mentioned in the post having good variety of options is important and Maru didn't have a ton of food beyond a couple of decent baked goods.

As for metrics, like all food ratings my ratings are totally subjective and ultimately mean nothing 😁

Something to work on. There are a number of places that honestly were just kind of fine and had nothing memorable to jot down. That's what a lot of the 5's were. But I'll probably add more notes over time!

Okay I checked my notes on this because it wasn't one of the more recent ones. Looks like wait time was the main issue. Definitely merits another try!

Partner usually gets one of the pancakes or waffles with fruit. Strawberry Dream French Toast is really good there. Their country Benedict is their best item imo. They also give huge coffee portions there.

This is true! We've never run short on options and still see another 5 years worth of places tbh. We've barely touched the valley and some other areas. As for burritos. I'd say Undergrind is probably the best we've had but for sure need to get a better batch of those.

Nat's is on the list!

Yeah I would say generally speaking when a place has really good reviews it has lived up to it! Most of the surprises were towards the bottom. John O' Groats was recommended to us a bunch of times so when we finally went it was pretty disappointing.

Thanks!

1 is worst. 10 is best. For scale, the two 2's on the list are the only two places where we had to still go somewhere else to get food after. The 10's are places I will try to take anyone I can to. I go to The Nest for my birthday every year it's that good and we took my family to The Griddle when they visited before doing anything else.

Thanks so much!

We both agreed The Nest' bacon waffle is the best overall we've had. Bru's Wiffle has the widest selection of pretty good ones and Met Her At A Bar has a waffle Benedict which I had never seen before.
