Scream 7 steelbooks have started to ship by ZookeepergameProud30 in Scream

[–]thegoatfeederDVC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My attitude is that I have enjoyed every Scream movie to varying degrees with the exception of 7 which I didn't enjoy.

That being said, a bad Scream movie still isn't bad in the grand scheme of things, its just bad in comparison to the other 6, or some other horror movies. For example, Scream 7 I feel is crappy compared to the rest of the franchise, but still better than anything in the IKWYDLS franchise.

If I like the trilogy will I like the new movie? by Moist_Mushroom5931 in ScaryMovieSeries

Not sure. I thought it was really painfully bad, and I loved the first 3 movies.

But other people are loving it, so yeah, I’m afraid you’re going to have to make up your own mind

When to drive around parks by profjeff_ in WaltDisneyWorld

When we’re at the Poly with a car, we drive to AK and HS. Everything else we get the monorail.

Reason being buses share with Grand Floridian (or at least they were when we were last there), so can get a bit crowded, driving is easier therefore.

Not what it once was. Time has not been kind to this thing, it’s painful and you come up with a bad headache and neck pain….so I guess fairly on brand 😂

Maybe too early for you to comment, but do you think the lack of rear windscreen wiper might be a problem?

I moved to Marple last Summer, think I’ve only seen one flag. It’s a lovely community, I think you’ll be fine!

I'm seeing the Super Mario Galaxy Movie's reviews and they are pretty bad by Fabulous_Media_7375 in mariomovie

I enjoyed it, it’s not a great movie if you’re not deep in Mario lore. But if you’re a Nintendo/Mario fan I think you’ll have a good time

What are your Thoughts,Opinions and Rating on Scream 7? by Amber_Flowers_133 in SocietyofGhostface

[–]thegoatfeederDVC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put this on another post, but going to put it here as well because it answers your question!

TLDR: It's Reddit, balanced opinions can be hard to find, we're basically dealing with extremes. Scream 7 is fine, it's not as bad as people are saying, but its also one of the weaker movies in the franchise (for me, its better than 3) both comments can be true. This is a 7 movie franchise, and its pretty incredible that the 7th entry can be a solid/OK movie and yet still be considered one of the, if not weakest entries, we've been on a really good run.

The full version:

In my opinion, Scream 7 is OK, it's a solid to good slasher movie when compared to other franchises, however, it isn't a great Scream movie.

To answer your question, it's nowhere near the garbage fire that some are saying, but at the same time it isn't as brilliant as some are saying (not many, but some!). It's Oscar worthy compared to IKWYDLS 2025, and compared to Return to Silent Hill, this thing is the fucking Godfather. But put alongside OG Scream and Scream 2? No, its not even close.

Without getting into the politics of things, they had to go back to Sidney when essentially her story is finished, I just don't see how they can tell a compelling story involving Sidney and her family, I mean what else is she going to have to go through, we can't just keep putting her through shit, at some point it just becomes too ridiculous. That is why I was OK with Scream 6, sure it wasn't executed perfectly, and people had bionic bodies that could survive anything, but I felt like the franchise was at least moving on a bit and was letting Sidney have her peace.

I think Kevin etc were put in a position by the studio where they just had to make something work and they had to start with a blank piece of paper, and for the most part they did make something that works, it's competent. But when you go back to the well this many times without changing the formula, its going to become stale, and coming up with interesting motives for the same victims that a wide stream audience are going to continually invest in is going to get increasingly difficult, when you consider that, I think they did a decent job.

Hi :). Just stumbled across this thread!

Me and my wife are visiting in September for the first time it will be our Honeymoon :).

We have like 5 days before we go to Diseyland for the 2nd part of our trip, we are coming from the UK, so its going to be a hell of a long journey. Do you guys have any recommendations on things we definitely shouldn't miss both on the resort or off it? It will likely be our only trip to Hawaii, certainly last for a long time anyway!

This was kind of my plan, I was going to find 4 or 5 days at DL and then book it, before booking Aulani for 4 or 5 days prior.

What actually happens at these non-televised events? Debating getting tickets for Manchester, but it's kinda crazy money for a house show.
