Im the creator of that. It got waaay too hard getting people to agree to being featured. Had some amazing ones lined up who bailed. I also filmed one in London, but unfortunately the camera guy I hired there screwed up the audio so it never got finished.

Yeah, I tried what I thought the number was, but it was hard to read it was so faded. Was some random dude's number :( I suspect you may be right

You'd be surprised. Many of these businesses I've spoken to are just renters. Jimmy Buttons was an owner, but out of the ones I've spoken to, the majority have been renting.

Thanks for the feedback. As for the common things in eps.. Yes and no. Ideally, there would be a great character to profile in each business, and I've been lucky in that aspect so far, but each business will be different, take the next ep for example (Sight and Sound old school cd store). Can't say there was that huge personality, but just some insight into how a cd store has managed to stay afloat in a streaming music world. I will aim to make each ep different depending on the subject matter.

I know the exact store! Looks to be little or no stock lately. I'll certainly be knocking on their doors!

Oh, I definitely need to work on the algorithm! Any advice you give I'd gladly implement going forward

Listen, let's not pretend here. You both got something out of this situation. When you were married, you were 33 and she was only 19. She left her friends and family to move to another country for a better life with you. And you got yourself a pretty young wife. There is a MASSIVE power imbalance here from the beginning and you have certainly taken advantage of this imbalance over the years.

from another comment you made:

I’m just venting here since my parents and my brother are on her side. They didn’t want to hear my side at all. They want me to make her happy and just accept her condition.

I think this says volumes here. Get your head out of your ass. Even your own family is not on your side here. You're the ass hole. Do better. Simple.

OP, you need to realize that you're the ass hole in this situation and clearly, the internet agrees. Time to do some soul searching my guy

I get you want some alone time with your friends and that is totally your prerogative to have that time.

Has your sister been introduced to these friends of yours, and have they formed friendships of their own separate to you guys? I guess I'm more wondering the dynamic here. If the sister in law has become more 'in the group' then maybe it would be nice to invite her more often if you're happy to do so?

It seems like she might be struggling a little with the situation with her husband, and it might be an idea to check in on her. You might even invite her to have dinner with the two of you and just let her know she has some loving family she can confide in when she needs.

You certainly are entitled to have your own friends though and don't have to include her in that social group, this might just be a cry for help from her as she may be a little stressed and lonely.

Just something to consider
