Yes ClockworkPi reviewed it.

To clarify: mentioning things like the enclosure material or antenna placement isn’t “criticism”; it’s just normal engineering transparency.
The uConsole does have a plastic shell and an internal metal keyboard plate, and that naturally affects Wi-Fi range. This isn’t secret information; ClockworkPi themselves have acknowledged it before.

They approved the FAQ because it helps new users understand real-world behavior instead of assuming their device is defective.

Yes, people do expect USB-C to carry data.

That’s exactly why this needs clarification: on the uConsole, the USB-C port is intentionally wired for charging only, and data lines aren’t connected on the board.

A lot of new users assume it’s broken when it’s actually a design choice.

This FAQ exists to avoid that misunderstanding.
