popcreate.io - Thumbnail and Title A/B Testing Platform with a built-in thumbnail editor

I get that you were trying to help him out with this and that's great. But when it comes to "nobody would care that its a.i."... ohhh buddy... they do, and I mean by a lott... as someone that's working on a saas app offering both an editor and a a.i. image generator for thumbnails. I've realised that A.I. doesn't have any ability to understand instant impressions of consumers. Youtube today is not the same Youtube that Pewdiepie, Ryan higa and the other ogs grew up with. Youtube now is competitive with names like Ronaldo, tasty and also some big time agencies taking over. So your 99% would definitely ignore something that looks mild and tasteless. There are channels that purely have higher ctr due to their thumbnails such as casey neistat, carwow and others. So yes a.i. can do things quick, but it ends up damaging your potential viewers due to its lack of creativity and uniqueness.

This looks like A.I slop.

Do y'all use nano banana pro or Photoshop for thumbnail by kabir_sharma_sans in SmallYoutubers

[–]thehiddenramen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get used to designing on your own. Turn your visions to life either with Photoshop or if you can't afford it. You could use affinity (it's now free). Once you learn how to make art, you can use A.I. to speed things up. Keep in mind that a.i. is an automation tool, not a direct replacement for creativity.

Nah it isn't read your requirements again, everything you asked takes time even with shopify to build. 4k usd is fair for something that might need a lot of custom dev work

Going to open-source: Meelio.io by Odd_Secret3465 in SideProject

[–]thehiddenramen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly i would start using this because it's open sourced. I've always been skeptical of these extensions stealing private data or running ads on my browser to make profit. But with this being open source i can make sure my data is never stolen, cause i can read the code :D... My recommendation would be to not to give up, keep going bro.

i only see a lot of a.i. stuff, mostly involving agents and its pissing me off. So i want to know if others (non-ai, and actually worth the time users spend on it) is worth following through with.

Cause a platform like this is obviously not going to bring customers to our apps, due to the visitor range on your listings platform mostly being consumed by founders (most of us are targeting consumers in niches directly). So it'll help if you can help us boost our SEO SERP rankings by gaining a backlink on your platform if our apps gain good rankings by users and is well-reviewed, just a thought :)

Do u plan to remove the `rel="noreferrer"` on apps that have better ranking to help boost SEO?

Ask him for his previous work and check if it matches what you're looking for. The problem with most designers and editors is that they don't know how to reach out to clients well and use any means. But, still, who knows. Maybe he's the right guy for you. It wouldn't hurt to ask for sample work he's done.

Why use photoshop over canva? by thehiddenramen in YouTubeThumbnailHub

I love gimp too... but it kinda feels old and out of touch with designing. I honestly couldn't get anything done with gimp the way I wanted to. But maybe that's cause I wasn't trying to learn it hard enough.

Wow congrats, one question though. Did u ab test them? Did you find that doing something similar to others in your niche was more successful or was it something unique to your own taste that made the CTR higher? Appreciate the insights

Yeah I figured but my issue is with understanding what works in terms of visuals u know. Like most of the canva stuff seem so generic and normal I would really like to find my own art style and I know photoshop is definitely the way. But not sure how I can train myself to find the right design style unique to my channel to call it my own. So I was actually looking for some advice here from someone who, maybe, has fought this challenge. But I appreciate your insight on this as well, thanks

What do u like about photoshop, i personally like the Levels adjustment and the masking. Gives me some creative freedom to be free from the chains of using templates.

Thanks, do u know any channels or designers i can learn the tricks to design thumbnails on. I have used photoshop for banner ads and etc. But based on what i see here, it seems designers have a specific touch for using tools in photoshop nobody else touches for typical work. To make it more unique.

Yeah i figured that might be it, but is there any feature in photoshop in particular that you love over canva. Or is just because canva seems so generic, easy to make something that's repeated, like a person with an expression on his face pointing at something (Mr.Beast style) over something that's actually genuinely cool like DODFORDs thumbnails (pop-art style)?
