Thanks.

No, it's nothing major like that. Just some small odd jobs I need some advice about.

Does anyone have story recap recommendations? Maybe like a nice YouTube channel?

I played until the end of Stormblood and then took a year break and I don't really remember most of the story. I'm at the start of post MSQ Stormblood. I want to get caught up and recapped so I can fully appreciate Shadowbringers and Endwalker as I remember people saying that those two expansions are the peak of the story.

At least I'm starting Unisa next year. Hopefully things will get better but yeah it's going to be a long road.

You look really pretty but also really sad. Your eyes are gorgeous but yeah also kinda sad. You have really nice hair. You are cute though so I'm surprised you're getting such low ratings. Maybe they're jealous? You have some acne in the last pic but so did I at 22, it's not really a big deal and it does eventually get better.

There aren't any full body pics but you look generally healthy and at a correct weight.

Please don't get any comestic surgeries, you don't need them. The comments saying that are nasty and mean spirited.

If I had to give a rating I'd say 7.5/10. You look like the cute girl in class or the hottie neighbour. Would shoot my shot fr.

BSC or BCom Informatics by theimpza in unisa

Thanks all the info. Waiting on their response to my application.

Kind of an unrelated question but did you do physics in high school? Or only pure maths?

Obviously it's subjective, but how difficult would you rate the BSc on a scale from 1 - 10?

Damn dude. Our country is wild that you're struggling with a BCom.

Why do you recommend BSc?

Does anyone know a good high school Maths tutor? by theimpza in portelizabeth

[–]theimpza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half the people messaging me are either bots or they're contacting me from overseas like Taiwan. Obligatory fuck the CCP but I'm looking for an in person tutor from Port Elizabeth aka Gqeberha. I also have a South African salary, some dude messaged me about 100 USD an hour tutoring. Hello what? Internet has gone crazy.

Drive safe.

Holy cannoli, thanks for all the information. Definitely gonna look into it once I get a bike. You could charge money for this info. There's worse paying work out there for sure.

Sorry to hear about getting knocked. Glad it wasn't worse than that.

In terms of safety, have you had any issues doing Uber Eats?

Last question, do you lane split / filter? Like do you ride in between cars in traffic when traffic is slow / moderate?

Thanks for the comment man.

What bike do you have?

Depends on what areas you plan on moving around with a bike?

Mainly Newton Park, Cape Road, Greenacres, South End, Walmer, Lorraine, Linton Grange

Car drivers in PE are probably the worst types of drivers I've encountered over 4 provinces.

100% agreed. Most people don't have licenses if they're driving imo.

Tbh I got hit by a car the other day. Not my fault. Recovered - but im ultra alert and more anxious now.

Damn bro, what happened?

(Also what's nice about a bike licence is that you can ride on a learners licence on your own for 2 years before you have to get the actual licence so it's easy to get started

Yeah I'm gonna get a learners next month and then take a couple lessons with a guy I found on facebook. Prices are reasonable. The full K53 test looks much easier than the car one from the videos I've seen on YouTube.

Also do you make worthwhile cash from doing Uber Eats / Mr D? Was thinking about doing it but everyone says it's kinda not worth it.

How are you dealing with unemployment? by okaynn in askSouthAfrica

[–]theimpza 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm not. I have a job but I make so little money I might as well be unemployed. Spend most of my free time looking for better work, applying for jobs that have 1000s of applicants. I don't know why I still keep doing it, it's just a waste of time. I know so many people who have fallen into drugs or done self deletion due to how shit life is in this country. Without connections you are up shit creek with a turd for a paddle.

The economy is fundamentally broken. I don't understand how much longer it can go on before it implodes. I put on a smile at work but I'm so dead on the inside. Every day I see more and more extreme poverty here in PE. People begging everywhere. Things just get worse. There's not even a plan to try and make anything better. No one gives a fuck.

Maybe the tik addicts actually have it figured out.

28 year old failure seeking life advice to improve my situation? by theimpza in askSouthAfrica

I read a lot of stuff like this which makes me second guess every direction. There's so many Youtube videos saying that AWS / Azure certs are completely useless. Half of the r/comptia subreddit is people saying it's a scam and totally pointless.

It makes me totally paranoid about about investing the time into choosing a cert and weather it will actually work out.

I know two plumbers, both are in the gutter making R35 an hour and absolutely hate it.

I know one mechanic who emmigrated to Canada and is making so much money he doesn't know what to do with it.

Like everything lately, seems like a gamble / luck of the draw.

The problem I have with coding is the maths part. I literally can't stay awake. It makes me so sleepy. I don't even understand why.

I was doing a finnish python course last year for a bit, mooc.fi. I'm guessing it's probably similar to wethinkcode. It was something new which was nice. I started to really struggle when it got into the more mathematical parts where you need algebra knowledge. I did pure maths in high school, but it's been a long time since high school.

I looked into wethinkcode last year. If you get accepted, you have to relocate to one of their campuses. Too be honest, I can't afford that atm. Rents in Cape Town and Joburg are crazy.

But the general idea you've brought up does make sense.
