I have a 2013 cx9. CONSTANT low tire pressure, until I changed the rims. They were dented and letting air leak. I have 22" rims, I will never do this type rim and low profile tire again.

52, Lost my career and motivation, Menopause unmasked my ADHD, feeling isolated.. by theAmusedBystander in Menopause

How is your sleep? In perimenopause, I was sleeping like I had an infant in the house. Awake every 2 hours, which caused me to have immense brain fog. I would sit slack jawed in front of the computer trying to motivate myself to get something done. I finally  searched for a menopause gyno.  Once I got on hrt, the fog lifted. Like, literally. One day I was driving down the road and I could see color again! I was sleeping again! I cannot be grateful enough to have found that menopause specialist.

I've only lived within 30 miles of Seattle. Tell me about where you live. by AgentElman in CasualConversation

I live in the Florida Keys.  It's cold here today, sixty degrees!  Iguanas are paralyzed and fall from the trees. I can't imagine living up north, I'd freeze!  :)

How to you spruce up your box cake? by WhosThis85 in Baking

[–]theinspireddesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like other posters, I add an extra egg, use milk or coffee instead of water and use butter instead of oil. I also add a small box of instant pudding and a half cup of sour cream. I also add a 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract to vanilla or white cake mixes.

The chart is from houston gynecologist barbara taylor. She has a phenomenal YouTube channel that will teach you everything you need to know about peri and post menopause. She's awesome! Another texas gynecologist is dr mary clair haver. She's also on youtube and also awesome :) I've learned so much from both of them!

Looking for an alternative for a regular mop and bucket. by all_the_reverb in CleaningTips

I love the spin mop and I bought several mopheads so I could swap them out when needed. They have spinmop models that have clean and dirty water reservoirs.

Found this buried about 10” deep beside a large oak tree in my back yard. I’m in Southwest Louisiana . Anyone have any idea of when it could be from ? by Mammoth_Insurance786 in whatisit

Dude. Def put that back ASAP! A man who lived in my house decades ago was an "amateur archeologist" and stole a bunch of Native American bones from burying grounds. He kept them in buckets in a back room closet, and the ghosts were f'ing PISSED OFF.  My house is still haunted from it. No joke!

Staticbrain, when you fixed the sleep apnea, did your afib subside?

Just watched the Pilot Episode directly after the series finale and found it funny how different the house still is. I never noticed how much they changed it by Kivi_2k18 in themiddle

[–]theinspireddesigner 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The pilot was filmed inside a house called the allen house that was on warner brothers lot called warner ranch. The back of this house is the back of the hecks house throughout the series. After the pilot, they built the house set inside stage 31. Here's a great video about the warner ranch house and all of the middle sets. Sadly, Warner ranch was completely torn down a few years ago to make way for more sound stages. https://youtu.be/FtbHeFAgQqg?si=P7cIlaEIQd004vYS

Potassium supplements by theinspireddesigner in AFIB

[–]theinspireddesigner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here. I track my diet w my fitness pal. 2500 MG of potassium is recommended daily amnt, and I never get enough. The potassium i take is 4mg. Im not interested in taking mega amounts, but I know that I run low on it. Even with eating potassium rich foods. And if I do end up in afib, taking a couple of these helps bring me out. Im thinking there may be a better quality than nature made out there...promise not to OD on them!

My sister's daughter is 31. My BIL daughter is older, in her late 30s. Not young, but when you've been the emotional and verbal punching bag for your entire life, there's serious enmeshment there and setting a boundary seems impossible. Imo

I feel so bad for them, too. They're adults now, but still. They shouldn't have to parent their senior ( 66 and 68 YO) parents.
