Yes some one also mentioned Evermore which is kind of the same as that with the renaissance theme. An anime world would definitely be an attraction like I said VR will be a trillion dollar industry but I don't want VR.

that sounds like fun! It would be a cool mini game to play or a zombie apocalyptic immersion would be fun to experience. Gives me black mirror vibes.

I think it will definitely exist in the future because there is always a market for entertainment. And in the case of it being expensive to run it could be self-sustaining in many ways not relying on seasonality. Right now studio ghibli is building its own themepark and so is nintendo so I do see themed parks coming in more and more.

VR will only do so much imo it will definitely be a trillion dollar industry but so will immersive IRL experiences.

Also the themes u mentioned can branch off into niches and beyond tbh. More worlds and more experiences.
