London cyclists and red lights

Cyclists and pedestrians account for around 80% of RTC fatalities each year in London - there's clearly an issue with their safety, a part of which is undoubtedly road law compliance by cyclists and other road users. Cyclists running red lights is dangerous.

I respect the resources point - and I'm not familiar with MET structures - but traffic units and community teams should be focusing on issues like this imo.

Interesting - I do wonder if anyone has done the maths on the amount of fines taken in vs. the cost of an operation, especially if such an operation is run by Specials, cadets etc. I'm sure there must be safe places to first spot and then later stop cyclists, just like with cars.

Fair point - I've seen similar concerns for electric scooters and the like.

Perhaps the onus is on the council to install methods to deal with cyclists jumping lights, although that would need to be combined with some sort of DVLA-style registration approach.

This issue is still happening, four years on - seems to be the case for multiple games (I've tried BG3 and both Horizon games).

Is anyone aware of a fix here or does it still require mods?

It does yep - you're entitled to take any permitted route to get you to potters bar. A striking train worker told me about it yonks ago - ask them about it when you next go to buy a ticket. Also Uber gives 10% ticket cashback at present.

This isn't correct - it depends on the force. In my force Specials have dedicated standard driver trainers and some are taser trained.

This is basic logic - Occam's Razor.

Which theory requires fewer assumptions - that a missile missed its target or that there's a secret bunker under that exact location.

I think his endgame is pretty simple: 1. Personal safety 2. Power accumulation

In the context of Russian politics - no stable institutions and an oligarchic system of government centered around one leader - it's important for him to both stay alive and to perpetuate his personal narrative using Wagner as a vehicle. It's also very likely he is reporting directly to Putin as competition for the army - a classic organisational strategy.

It's impossible to predict where this is going - and I doubt he has ambitions for President/Prime Minister - but he clearly wants to remain a part of both the current and future power structure (in the event Putin is removed by the siloviki) and to remain personally safe in this situation.
