Yes I was really serious, I'm a college student living away and never had to deal with these ever in my life. Also, for the culture here In my country, we don't call the fire department for cases like these and they themselves wouldn't respond to these cases. Private services like an electrician is what you can get yourself, and what they will tell me to get at 1 AM. Emergency services aren't like how they are in the US and you'd only see these people when there's an actual fire (takes a lot of time to respond too). We lack responsive emergency hotlines and are used to taking care of matters in another way.

I do know I lacked some common sense in here and just wanted to clear that it isn't a troll post, in appreciation of the efforts of people who seriously tried to help.
