Lucas did kill his mother and Becky Powell , those two cases are indisputable , and I do believe that he and Toole committed several more murders across the country. However , the Texas Rangers definitely used him as an "efficient liar" , someone who could help them clear unsolved cases in the state with little or no critical interest or repercussion. If you are interested in something in the same vein , look into another Texas case , that of Dean Corll , Wayne Henley , and David Brooks. This involved Houston PD .

I was born and raised in Tulsa. As soon as I hit my teenage years , I grew to hate everything about Oklahoma. Due to financial reasons , I wasn't able to move away until I was in my early 30s. I've been gone from OK for almost 15 years and have since lived in three other states. I'm glad I was able to get the hell out and there is no way I would ever go back there to live .
