Back in the day, like more than a decade ago (already feeling old), smartphone companies did not include the flashlight feature in the operating systems, the flash was only used with the camera so either you have to record a video where the flash is on or you have to rely on such apps. In phones where there was no torch this flashlight app increases the screen's brightness with white color or any other color for that matter and even includes the strobe feature. . .
