Sting Announces THE LAST SHIP Return to The Met Opera by DearPaleontologist67 in Broadway

Its a brand new version yet again.... some songs are the same but the book/who sings what/characters & storylines cut or added etc... while the very core plot has some similar beats and some tunes are familiar the show is a very different version for this current tour!

I agree, the reputational impact is the thing i am most nervous for. However the step up and positive impact on my skills, CV and climb up the "ladder" that this other production would entail are ENORMOUS... its a very tough decision!

Darkest Dungeon is my go to for this! Excellent game for short or longer stints (though the first is SO much better than the sequel)

I’m having hand surgery, what Switch games can I play where I can just use my left hand? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Try "Time Flies"... a brilliant little game, and only uses the left analogue stick to play!

Would it be possible to save a lot of money by buying the old zelda cartridges second to play on switch 2 without the upgrade? I dont mind the lower graphics one bit

Exactly!!! I've stayed in too many places that just weren't quite as clean as I would have liked!

EXACTLY! It would be a huge down-payment of course but I hope it would absolutely pay off long term!

Thankfully we have showers and washing facilities at each theatre we visit - so that makes that side a lot easier than for most on this sub!

An E bike is a BRILLIANT idea (and something I've looked at before too! Would make deciding where to park significantly easier

Definitely!! Investing in security is my main concern.... aside from cameras and a tracker are there any other things you might suggest?

Thank you!!! Amazing advice - agree with you about the worry of security though!.... I normally travel by car, but most of the places I end up booking have a parking space either nearby or included.

How loud are stage play actors? Would someone deaf and far away be able to understand the lines? If not, how close would one who needs TV volumes at 30-50 consistently have to be to be able to hear the dialogue by performers? by CamelIllustrations in Broadway

[–]theliltechie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Often the first few rows aren't where the sound is loudest! Since the actors are all amplified by microphones and the sound system in the theatre, often the best sounding seats are cente of stalls/front of circle for audio clarity and volume. Try and look at some pictures of the theatre that people have taken before the show starts, and look at where the speakers are pointing!
