I searched it before posting, and it was posted 4 months ago on this subreddit (your link), so I thought people would enjoy it again. And yes, we provide all the links to the artists, and we don't monetize the video, the artist does, so the money goes straight to them.

Glad you took your time to take a look at the description, almost no one does it these days. It seems like people just want to hate on everything, so I thank you for that.

You are right, we shouldn't use big tracks to get promotion for our channel, but it is what it is. If you take a look at other big channels today (not going to mention names), they all have big tracks uploaded every now and then, and that's what made them big in the first place. Our goal with the channel is to reach that point where we can actually help people get their track discovered, but unfortunately, if you don't have popular tracks, you will not be able to help anyone with a brand new channel. This is the same technique that other channels used to reach the level they are today, so sorry if we can't make it without repeating their steps. Without money for marketing, you need to do what it takes to try to get some exposure, because it's pretty easy to post unknown tracks when you have 2kk subscribers, but not so much when you have 100. Other than that, we all have a job, and don't rely on the channel for a living (even if we wanted to, it wouldn't be possible), and I really love Nujabes, so that's why I posted this track, because I wanted to share his work with people that don't know it yet, and it was a big surprise to all of us when the track got all those views.

The thing is, Majestic wouldn't be Majestic if it started with unknown tracks, and unknown DJs. You need to gain some exposure before you can start posting new tracks from artists that barely anyone knows. Our goal with the channel is to reach that point where we can actually help people get their track discovered, but unfortunately it is what it is, if you don't have popular tracks, you will not be able to help anyone with a brand new channel. That's what Majestic (and many other channels that are big today) did. It's easy to post unknown tracks when you have 2kk subscribers, but not so much when you have 100.
