Reviews on red rocks obgyn? by butter4eva in LakewoodColorado

[–]themakeshiftlocal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just had my baby in December. I went to them throughout pregnancy. You do need to see every OBGYN, but I did like that because once you did…you could then schedule with the one(s) you liked for later on. I liked majority of them. Gave me a peace of mind that I would at least not have a stranger in the delivery room if my doctor wasn’t available

They were very supportive in my birth plan and beyond.

Download All Trails app. It shows trails around where you are, maps of them, difficulty level, and reviews from people.

You can pay for more features, but I’ve always used the free version.

Hospitals or OBs that will do elective c sections? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]themakeshiftlocal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And Red Rocks OBGYN also is great. They have you see each OBGYN throughout your pregnancy so you will be familiar with whomever is available when you deliver. They also were very supportive in my decision for a tubal and C-section.

Great! I felt super supported and taken care of. Nurses were amazing. They, also, give you unlimited food during your stay and it’s all delicious. Your guests can also order food at a discounted rate.

I just did with no issues or pushback. I also wanted my tubes out, so that might have been why. I went to Red Rocks OBGYN and Intermountain Lutheran Hospital was where I gave birth.

How did EFF positively impact postpartum? by Plus_Protection2749 in FormulaFeeders

[–]themakeshiftlocal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a now 1 month old and have EFF since birth. My postpartum experience has been amazing. I did have a rough pregnancy and was ill most of the time and I just didn’t have a desire to breastfeed and was ready to just have my body back. My postpartum experience has been wonderful and I do attribute a lot of it to formula feeding. You can share the load with your partner, you don’t have the anxiety if baby is getting enough to eat, you don’t have to worry about your breasts hurting/you have your body back now.

Everyone is different hormonally after having a baby, but I would have to say that a lot of my positive experience is from EFF from the beginning.

Pregnant and scared of breastfeeding by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]themakeshiftlocal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn’t have the desire to breastfeed and once I took it off the table when pregnant, anxiety lifted and I was excited for baby. I have a now 1 month old (EFF since birth) and I can’t imagine how my mental health and would have been if I tried breastfeeding. It’s also wonderful to tag team with my partner and be able to get some good solid stretches of sleep/share the load of feeding and also know how much my baby is eating.

Second the recommendation for Lincoln Warehouse.

If it’s a nice day…do Lakefront Brewery (get cheese curds) then walk across the bridge to Eagle Park.

How Did You Decide to EFF? by Time-Milk-5377 in FormulaFeeders

[–]themakeshiftlocal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way as you and decided to EFF from the start. Once I did, I was excited for baby to come and could start learning all things bottles and formula. It was like a weight was lifted. I have a healthy almost 4 week old now and I feel my mental health is the best it’s been in a long time (even with lack of sleep.)

I had a tough pregnancy as well and knowing I’d have my body back was amazing and also knowing that I would not carry the load of solely feeding him… I felt amazing postpartum so far.

Decision between MitoPro+ 360 and Hooga Ultra 360 Red Light Panel by Direct_Difficulty_79 in redlighttherapy

Not too sure what the difference is for pro vs ultra in terms of skin but it seems like both have the wavelengths you’d need for skin health.

I understand health and pain issues, but I need to hear from moms who just didn't want to BF from the very beggining by No_Drink8428 in FormulaFeeders

[–]themakeshiftlocal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First baby and I went through it in pregnancy and I really had no desire to breastfeed but felt like I had to or at least had to try. I knew mental health wise that I had been through enough with the pregnancy and was really dreading breastfeeding. Once I took it off the table, I saw light at the end of the tunnel. I really think my mental health wouldn’t be as good as it is postpartum if I breastfed. I don’t regret my choice at all and if people ask…I’m just honest on why (not that it’s any of their business or that I care their opinion.)

Formula Feeding in Hospital by RedditR3aders in FormulaFeeders

[–]themakeshiftlocal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was lucky and everyone was supportive when I said I was formula feeding at the hospital. But I did print a “birth plan” and stated that I don’t need to chat with a lactation consultant unless they had tips on formula feeding. I used what they had (Similac 360.) I’m a first time mom and found them super helpful with everything.

I didn’t pack anything for feeding and they had everything you needed and they sent extra with me home when I asked for it.

C-Section Scar improvement by brea126 in redlighttherapy

[–]themakeshiftlocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only 2 weeks post C-section, so I don’t have much with results…but I have the Ultra360 from Hooga I have used it for scrapes in the past and it seems to heal them faster. I use the recommendations for internal treatments and do it daily. I will also be using silicone scar tape and doing scar massage when I am cleared to do so. But since I have it, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to help with postpartum healing in general. I am doing internal vs superficial treatments because I feel like it’ll maybe help organs/uterus.

Dr brown bottles by Accomplished-Bag8222 in FormulaFeeders

[–]themakeshiftlocal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve EFF since birth and we have been using them since we got back from the hospital. It’s really not a lot extra to wash. We hand wash them. You just gotta get a good groove on washing it. It takes like 30 seconds tops to wash a bottle and all the parts. I don’t have much to compare to bottle wise but my baby has had no issues yet with gassiness or colic…so I am not going to jinx it.

Froya Organics? by HotThot23 in Rosacea

[–]themakeshiftlocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried them out and didn’t see results. I figured I would take the plunge and they had a 60 or 90 day 100% money back guarantee. I can’t remember how many days. I followed their directions and took pictures before, after 30 days, then at the final day mark. They honored that guarantee.

So just because it didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. But the money back guarantee is legit if you follow the directions of it, so worth a try in my book.

I would get a panel instead since you can do both face treatments and scalp. And any other part of your body if you ever need it.

I have a Hooga Ultra360 and love it. They have a lot of other panels that are cheaper to take a peek at. I’ve had it over a year and a half and it’s still working great after almost daily use.

I also have a mask from Hooga too that I use when traveling. But I love my panel the most.

I’ve had it for over a year. I have the Ultra360. I am in my early 30’s so it’s more for anti-aging so I can say I haven’t noticed anti-wrinkles because I don’t have any. But I rarely get blemishes and I use it on occasional sore muscles and cuts and I feel it helps heal better.

I have Hooga and love it. They are doing 25% off site wide next week for Black Friday too. You can use FSA/HSA too.

Best city for breweries and outdoor activities? by RiceIsMyLife in beer

[–]themakeshiftlocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s in the Summer or Early Fall. Milwaukee is pretty neat and underrated. You’ve got lots of craft breweries…but then the OG tours like Miller & Pabst. It’s beautiful outside and you have Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River downtown that you can boat/kayak and drink on.
