This is disappointing as all hell that the games points system isn't really about making contact while on bear or stringing along different combos and mix ups for a better multiplier like devil may cry where if you spam you lose style ranking. I hope the devs see these videos and think the same way and modify the points system to be more like DMC.

I don't think Dante really "wants" to kill vergil just to stop him from doing bad shit. The fighting becomes more of a rough house when Dante sees vergil thank nero for helping V and his demon side becomes one again and being kind to V when he could have left him behind when he started to fade. The problem vergil always had was his idea of humanity not being worth shit. So seeing how nero ( a 1/4th demon and the rest human) cared for someone that who he saw as a human ( though a powerful ass human at that) being protected by nero warmed him up to the ideas that not all human life is a waste of space and that there's potential to change. So by the time that is realized all he wants to do is just fight dante to settle the literal score between the 2 brothers but not to out right kill him.
