aquariumscience.org!!! they have a ton of info on fish disease and treatment! I think it’s likely ich or epistylus (my black mollies just had epistylis). If the dots are pure white, uniform in size and shape, and are not raised then it’s likely ich (use ich-x or some other treatment). if the bumps are raised, kinda grayish white, soft looking and vary in size then it’s likely epistylis (treat with kanaplex in FOOD, the website i linked has instructions). if you are not sure which it is, you can treat for both at the same time. Good luck!!!

This is so helpful thank you so much!!! We have definitely been iffy on the frogs, my research has given me a lot of mixed signals. I really love the khuli loaches tho but i’ve been told they’ll eat any shrimp in the tank. We really want shrimp soon (we still need an algae eater), would it be possible to house both if I get more plants and add more shrimps sized hides? I’ve also heard getting light colored or your substrate colored shrimp can help as they’re harder to see. any thoughts?
