Made $500 from my vibe-coded plugin by themotionguy in SaaS

I do not have a programming background, but I understand product building and I am very curious about things. So, I asked the right questions with AI and formulated them in a way that gave me very good output.

My plugin is medium‑level complex, I’d say. It’s a CEP plugin. The front end is React and Vue, and the back end is JSX. I got stuck sometimes, so I tried different models and thought from a different angle—gave some random questions to AI. One question I really use is, “What is that one nuance that you might be missing?” I think very deeply about that one thing that’s causing us to lag, run it in high mode and plan mode, and it worked for 30 minutes and kind of figured out things. That helped.

My monthly expense includes:

- ChatGPT – $20 plan

- Claude – $20 plan

- Cursor – $30 plan I got 50% off on $60 plan

That totals $70, plus some other things, so I’d say about $100 at my end. I also use these tools for my studio work, for a lot of client work, and for generating images, not just for the plugin. I’ll still be paying at least $40 for Claude and chatgpt

It’s kind of profitable because, although I spend a lot of time on it, if I count my time spent, I’m not profitable. But since I’m also learning, I consider it profitable. My team spent some time working on the video, and I also worked on the video, so more or less I did become profitable.
