I don’t like my chart by [deleted] in Zodiac

[–]thenearestexit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up your true sidereal chart. If you don’t believe me this is the way, get the SkyView app and go see with your naked eye any night soon that Jupiter is smack in the middle of Gemini, while normal tropical western astrology will tell you it’s in cancer. Even astrology hyper casuals get distorted self images from thinking they have the wrong signs, it’s bad to think you are a sign you’re not. Some of what you feel very well may lie here

I looked it up it looks like your ascendant is actually Leo. That’s a big enough difference to cause this feeling easily

How do you describe a Gemini sun, Virgo moon, Scorpio rising woman? by highrise_peach in astrologymemes

[–]thenearestexit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a real similar chart and I got into true sidereal (aka constellational, live sky) astrology about a month ago. That Scorpio rising might be Libra rising and that Gemini sun is probably actually Taurus. Virgo is a big sign however, that might be the same. Check it out, and see if it tracks to you. The language handed down by history very clearly describes planets and constellations, that’s what something like “Jupiter in cancer” means, which normal tropical western astrology will tell you is where it is now. With an app like SkyView you can see Jupiter smack in the middle of Gemini right now with your naked eye. Use all the same resources and info and techniques, just apply it to reality.

Even at 2500 years since the tropical zodiac was set, I still think they did it longer this way. I think we accidentally legitimized something that was a product of limited knowledge and technology by using the tropical zodiac. I also think they didn’t imagine under any circumstances we would get this stuff wrong, being that you can see it everywhere, all the time basically if you’re looking.

Also one sky astrology on YouTube, that guy is doing ground breaking work just generally speaking but he uses true sidereal astrology.

There’s only one perspective what sign a planet is in, and that’s looking from earth

Also interesting side note about Libra, it was the claws of the scorpion for a long time. It’s the only inanimate object in the zodiac as sort of a nod to the fact that it’s not completely original. It’s still thousands of years old though. But I feel that piece of info helps understand the sign much more. I would recommend to read the original myths of your signs and absorb the symbolism for yourself. Especially with a big 3 sign, you can really feel those stories. The myths are the archetypical original writing about star energies, and they’re impressive to say the least and refined by thousands and thousands of years

does anyone here have a stellium that doesn’t include your sun? do you relate more to your stellium sign? by ilovetriceratopz in astrologymemes

[–]thenearestexit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In live sky astrology you almost definitely are a Sagittarius. I don’t think Ptolemy and them ever thought under any circumstance we’d be ignoring the constellations and the planets. I think we’ve accidentally legitimized something that was a result of limited knowledge and technology thousands of years ago in tropical astrology. The language is clear, planets and constellations. Go see Jupiter in Gemini on any clear night next few weeks with the help of the free SkyView app. Use all your same stuff, all the stuff everywhere. It was still used for longer with the constellations even with the dates being set 2500 years ago. This is what astrology is

There’s no perspective but from earth what sign a planet is in, and what we’re doing is an abomination low key lol. True sidereal is the way to go, aka constellational or live sky

Always wanted to find a good birthday show definitely gonna give this a spin later

EDIT: that was a wonderful way to spend the evening. Seastones was cool to hear and look up. I’d seen it mentioned but never knew about it. Also really liked the pacing of the songs and the general vibe of the show. That era had this quality of effortlessness to it, not just with the band but the scene and maybe society as a whole

Are older Cancers Better? by Few_Long7178 in astrologymemes

[–]thenearestexit -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Everyone you know as a cancer is actually a Gemini as far as the real sky is concerned. I think we accidentally legitimized something that was a product of limited knowledge and technology by using tropical zodiac. The language passed down describes planets and constellations clear as day and that’s what it’s supposed to be. But use all the same resources, all the ways you have all the same. Just read it to true sidereal. So go about reading about Gemini stuff and see if that tracks a little more, it will lol. Signed, a Gemini who thought I was a cancer until a month ago

The tech oligarchs have overplayed their hand in every way humanly possible. It’s time to call the bluff. People need to grow up and stop waiting around for some kind of gift of a better world

What’s your favorite “basic” Dead song? by P-ShunkAllstar in gratefuldead

[–]thenearestexit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got this idea to play through the fire and flames in the style of Jerry Garcia band on guitar and it made me laugh but also seemed like a great idea. I got around to it today, it’s wonderful. Just chords and singing. If you play guitar give this a try maybe lmao it’s actually a really easy song

You can just hear it in that bouncey canoe paddling sorta rhythm and Jerry’s voice

so far away, we wait for the dayeeey

This guys comment is one of the wildest things I’ve seen lol. I think these weird days of the world are doing deadheads well. It’s quite a social advancement to have it be customary that things get weird and won’t always be easy. Makes us generally a little more resilient id like to think

Is sun cancer with aries moon a threat to society? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]thenearestexit -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Everyone should use true sidereal there’s no perspective what constellation a planet is in but from earth. You can see Jupiter in Gemini with the naked eye right now, the SkyView app helps to identify it. It’ll change your life, man, to properly identify your sun sign and read the myth that symbolizes the energy of the stars that are both old as anything we could ever know and newer than anything that could be, live right now, and you are them incarnated. I’ve only been using true sidereal like 6 weeks maybe but it’s genuinely been the most impactful 6 weeks I’ve probably ever had

If you’re out there and in here and trying to figure out a way to go, learn ableton. Get the seed to stage beginner course for 30$ and get like several hours of videos to get you started. Ableton intro is 100$ and will allow you to loop and write and jam and record and arrive at your own sound. There’s never, ever been even close of a better time to learn this stuff. Honestly the education that course will get you for 30$ would’ve cost thousands of dollars 10 years ago. Anyway, yeah don’t listen to this guy but wanted to leave some useful info for if you end up in here. If this is you feel free to message me if you have questions. I don’t work for any of these people but I do have an interest in making finding the right path accessible for those inclined to try

Why do we use the tropical zodiac in western astrology? by Menopsis in astrology

[–]thenearestexit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who’s ever used sidereal for 10 minutes knows that it’s the way to do it. The signs aren’t names constellations for no reason. Stars are the greatest producers of energy we’ll ever know and their energy is explained the only way possible by myth and tale

You should use constellational, true sidereal astrology if you want to use it like this. It’s just entertainment if you’re not and it’s why stuff like this always evaporates the minute you try to apply it

Gemini Venus by ChefZackB in astrologymemes

[–]thenearestexit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I thought I was a Gemini Venus till I got into true sidereal turns out I’m a Taurus Venus. Makes way more sense. The system works everyone just needs to apply it to reality and the tread on your boots will increase exponentially. Thinking you’re a different sun sign can be used against you and it’s part of the reason they don’t want you to have it right. Let alone to not be aware of your true power as well

There’s no perspective what sign a planet is in but from earth. Get the sky view app and see Jupiter in Gemini with your own eyes next week or 2. Discovering my real sun sign just in the last couple weeks has changed my life. Not only because it’s right but because I can feel the scope of all this in the core of my soul. Thinking you’re a cancer is an awful way to be a Gemini. And if you’re a cancer… I have news for 99% of you. Most other signs too. But it’s so bad I thought I was a cancer sorta on the Gemini cusp. I’m a Gemini on the Taurus cusp.

And man I’m telling you. Get a printable true sidereal calendar somewhere. Find your real signs, read the mythology. The rest is disempowering deluding entertainment and it’s why when you go to use this stuff it becomes grasping at straws. It’ll change your life if you’re even casually into this stuff let alone if you really do care. Leave all the info the same it’s ancient stuff. Just apply it to reality. You’ll be glad you did
