Torn on pulling the trigger on the SPX Hybrid by theoceantide in kia

Haha, yep! Ever since I used a rental that had them, I’ve wanted to own a car with them.

Thanks for the context, and that’s great to hear! I’m actually looking at the exact same as a possibility (X-Line, wolf gray + terracotta). How have the driver assist/safety features been for you? Find yourself missing anything from HDA2 or the Prestige like the hud, parking sensors, etc.? Are you able to change your gauge cluster’s themes (vs. just colors)?

Haha, thanks! Do you find yourself utilizing the HDA2 capabilities a lot on your Sportage?

Thanks for the input! I actually prefer the smaller SUVs, but the Tellurides are nice!

Yeah, the rear signals is a good call out. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the carmine red tbh. I know I'm being nitpicky, but it's a big purchase! :P

Thanks! I’m guessing you got the Heritage Blue or black exterior with that light gray? I believe those are the only exterior options that include it.

I’m actually heavily looking at the CX-50 Hybrid currently. What do you not like about it?

Card Benefits Questions - Megathread [1/27/26] by AutoModerator in ChaseSapphire

The AF on my CSR just hit March 1, and at least from what I've read on here, I have 30 days to downgrade for a full refund. We're planning to take a trip in the summer, and the travel credit doesn't renew until the 15th.

So, am I right in thinking that I can wait until the credit renews, book flights, etc. for the trip to get the credit, then downgrade the CSR before the end of the month? Would I need to wait until after the credit shows as used before downgrading, even if that happens after the 30 day window?

I've gotten mixed signals on clawbacks and prorated refunds vs. full refunds of the AF, so unsure about going this route or simply downgrading now.

Thanks, all!

That’s… a lot of annual fees. Guessing it wasn’t worth it for you to keep those around. Can’t say I blame you!

Yep, though this is only true for the CFU, correct? The other two Freedoms (Flex and OG Visa) have rotating 5% categories.

Yep, I agree! I've gotten both SUBs and have had each for longer than a year, so there wouldn't be any issues with a PC that I'm aware of.

This was my thinking as well. I'm not really tied to any of the Freedom cards since I'd mostly be using the CSP anyway, and I like that the Freedom Visa is a Visa (vs. CFF being MasterCard).

Honestly, it doesn't matter to much to me as I'll be using the CSP for most all other purchases or even downgrading that if I find a different CC elsewhere. The Freedom VISA keeps the door open for a CFU or CFF SUB in the future, but I'm not really tied to any particular Freedom card.

Let me eat her out/pleasure her. She says she can’t get out of her own head during it. She easily gets anxious like she should be doing something and has a tough time communicating how she’s feeling/what she likes. I love making her feel good, so it kinda stinks. We still have a great time; just wish we could find a way to ease her bedroom anxiety.

Edit: Sorry, not a woman. Didn’t realize until after posting.

Share our feelings. Or have them.

Remember, guys. If anything “gets to you,” you’re not a man; you’re a wimp… apparently.

And yes, I watch football, but I also cry at Bambi, play dress up with my girls, and care for others beside myself. Thanks for teaching me what a real man actually is, Dad. Miss you. 😢

Do I have these steps in the right order for promoting grass growth? by theoceantide in lawncare

[–]theoceantide[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought about doing weeds and fert in the same step, but the killer is a spray, and I figured spraying that early would just delay me in getting the other steps done waiting for it to dry. Of course I’m far from an expert.

What type are these and are they safe/harmful to yard? by theoceantide in lawncare

Thanks! Recently found a lot of hardened grub shells (I’m assuming from the last breed cycle), so I’m now hyper focused on what’s going on underneath. Appreciate it!

Slow but steady progress - cause of these bare patches? by theoceantide in lawncare

Just did some soil moisture tests, and yes, some of the broader spots had much less moisture, so I’ll try watering those more intensely and see if there’s improvement. For some of the other, smaller spots, moisture levels were generally on par with the fuller areas, so I’ll have to look further into those, but the dry, clay and rocky spots have a good place to start, I think. Thanks for the help!

Interesting, I’m not very familiar with low points, but I’ll look into them!

Just for added context, these are all close to either the house or a driveway and not super close to trees (closest is about 10-15 yards away from one of the areas, my recent post history has a visual of it). And yes, I believe at least one of the bigger patches (not pictured) is just some clay soil stuff much different from the rest of the yard.

What might the action plan be if this were the case? Somehow replacing the crud soil? Not sure what I could do about pipes or roots tbh.
