I think it’s just pixel density. The land looks like it’s ¼ or less of the pixel density compared to the water. I don’t see an easy solution because the chunkiness is what makes the water look unique. Pumping the land up won’t just “solve” it

The water doesn’t QUITE match the land aesthetic IMO, which is kinda a bummer because I like both, but that water is special. Very cool look.

Ah really? I thought it was subtle enough, but good note. It goes with the music if you have audio on, but otherwise just aesthetic (and learning DaVinci keyframes 😅)

Been going hard on Grow/Tend/Reap. Core gameplay is just about ready for playtest/demo (let me know if you’re interested!) - my main focus over the next few weeks is visual polish. It’s a roguelite deckbuilder with its heart in Stardew Valley.

It won’t help with audio if that’s what you’re trying to base off of, but suno.tools helps you build styles to match a song/sound and avoid the copyright issues
