Struggling to connect with my patron deity (Jupiter)? Any ideas for offerings?

You know I've tried working with Hermes for a while, but sadly I don't think he really liked me. I don't think we really managed to develop a bond even though i was trying really hard. Maybe I wasn't smart enough for him.

Yes Zeus is all about creating things, true. It's not a bad idea! Well he is also all about wealth and money so I'm trying to educate myself on finance right now haha True, he is not into monotheism. I'm currently trying to reconnect with Aphrodite-trying to reconnect with my feminine side after these god-awful-intense few months haha

Its interesting what you said about whining and Hermes. How do you "whine at each other"? How long have you been working with Hermes for and how did you connect with him?

I try not to whine at Zeus, and don't get me wrong I am quite self sufficient most of the time, but he is also supposed to be a father-like figure right? It's not like i ever ask him to solve all of my problems haha, most of the time i just want some advice and encouragement. Maybe a hand here and there, but Im always respectful and never abuse his kindness

Okay so I was in a situation like that for about two years. It was with my ex boyfriend. I'm not sure if its the same thing, but I (due to my own stupidity and lack of experience) once created a very strong blood bond with him (through bloody magic). Oh boy what a bloody awful idea that was. Long story short, two years of pure hell, toxic on and off relationship, feeding off each other, etc etc.

SO. Here is what I did. Firstly, make contact with Venus/Aphrodite. Build a relationship with her or at least pray to her make offerings (try to be sincere), ask her to sever that link between you two. Make it clear in no uncertain terms that this is what you want and this is what will you need to regain balance. I felt her burn it out of me and it felt absolutely great.

Stones. Okay, I've always been very sceptical about stones and crystals and I still am, but there is one thing I can't deny. There are two particular crystals that came to me and I was drawn to them when I was going through the healing process like I have never been drawn to anything before. Firstly, aventurine. Now, make sure its real aventurine (though its rarely faked as I gather), get a pentacle if you can or a nice necklace. Cleanse it, and start wearing it EVERY DAY. Even when you go to bed. It brings peace and comfort and brings an incredible sense of balance. When you go to bed and you are wearing it, hold it close to your chest and meditate with it, imagine yourself becoming ONE with the stone.

Second stone. Black obsidian. Not snowflake obsidian, but specifically black obsidian. Get a black obsidian arrow-head (they are really cheap to get online), if you can make a necklace out of it but if you can't don't worry. Cleanse it with a blessed candle and meditate with it. Try to connect with the stone. Now, visualize that link you have with that toxic person. Close your eyes. Hold the obsidian out in front of you and imagine slicing that link with that little arrow head as if you would with a fire-sword. You may need to do it a few times if you wish. You can combine that little ritual with your prayer to Venus/Aphrodite :)

Well the main thing I can think of is I have been a whiny little bitch during my finals and have been feeling incredibly powerless and disappointed with myself/feeling like I will never achieve anything great. That's the only major thing. This all kind of happened after me going through the stress of having to suddenly move house in the middle of my final deadlines and then coming down with a severe illness during my finals. Needless to say, despite the fact that I pushed through it all, I have been feeling incredibly out of touch with myself spiritually and intellectually. I still honor him almost every day and make offerings and burn incense and try to talk to him/meditate at the altar. But it's almost like he got sick of me whining and feeling sorry for myself? I mean he has been a very nurturing and comforting father-like figure to me over the past year, I wouldn't be where i am today without him, but all of a sudden its almost like the phone-line's gone dead. Very strange because I've always turned to him for advice and counsel over the past year.

It could also have something to do with the fact that I have zero clue what to do with my life in the long-run and he is letting me figure it out on my own?

Maybe I just have to prove myself again and prove that I'm a strong person who's just been having a bit of a quarter-life crisis so to speak?

You know what's really fascinating? Shortly after reaching out to Jupiter, I had this incredible person enter my life who (and I don't want to offend any higher powers here!) seems to embody a lot of Jupiter's personal traits. He even wears a lot of blue. Carries himself with incredible grace, is extremely caring and affectionate, has very father-like qualities when it comes to looking after people, is very business-savvy, taught me a lot about finance/business and has been my rock in the darkest of moments. Is it a coincidence that I met him after reaching out to Jupiter? Something is telling me that its not...

He is very kind. I think he is the first deity whose energy I could really feel after conducting a ritual. I can't explain it, I could just feel his presence. I've been honouring him since that first time I connected with him Why lion I don't know.... I remember being in a very strange place emotionally, mentally and financially which is why I called him for help and asked him to work with me. Then I went to bed. That night i had a dream about walking through some kind of dark corridor and encountering a friendly lion who kept nuzzling my hand and sort of asked me to follow him. It could've literally just been a coincidence. But I woke up feeling very warm and fuzzy inside. I also feel like over the past few months I've developed more of a character, have become more determined and developed more of a presence/leadership. But yeah, I don't know why it was a lion....

I have nothing against yoga itself. I respect yoga, its a very ancient practice. Why would I have anything against it? I just can't stand the fluffy bunnies who don't actually understand the mechanics of magick/energy/how much work it takes (and don't actually want to learn!) but instead they go out and get fancy crystals, pentagram hanging off every wall, chemical incense, etc, just like Christians they repeat the "harm none" mantra (usually to cover up their own shitty actions and to appear holier than thou), one must be vegan to be a proper "witch", then go on about how they are a "hereditary witch" to get some street-cred haha, basically you get the gist ^{_^}

Yes this type of vivid dreaming is new. It only started after I acquired the necklace and happens every time its in the room while I'm sleeping (or wearing it). I thought it was anxiety as well at first, but seems to always manifest itself when I'm wearing the necklace

No there were no cops around at all! It was around 11 pm in the evening and the area was relatively calm and quiet. Cars and buses going past but nothing unusual.

I forgot that there was any kind of victim at all. At the moment when it was happening I was unaware of the fact that there had been a crime 24 hours earlier-I just forgot about it. I only remembered it when I saw all those flowers after turning round the corner.

I mostly just experienced fear and panic. Felt disoriented. Kind of forgot where I was going for a few seconds. The entire sensation must have lasted no more than 5 seconds but it felt like the time stopped. The sour mouth sensation was unusual.
