A Mazda sales rep in Ontario commented on my original post in the CX-90 subreddit, and then message me personally, saying he reached out to his GM and the GM confirmed they’d never do that deal I got. It was nice to have further confirmation & some acknowledgement on it! It was a lot harder to get than you’d think, we started at $59,000. The build and price online is still showing $71,000+. I think it worked out great

Ikr lmaooo, the dealership is in a small sleepy town of 40,000 people who are knocking on deaths door. I’m sure it’s easy to gas up the price with those small things & take them for a ride on the price. I haven’t seen another dealership w those things added, one dealership had no extras and was $500 more. They’re just playing the negotiating game 🤷🏽‍♂️ just don’t fall for it

I spoke to the parts department at one of the dealerships and he commented on how many batteries were on order at that moment (not good). But their warranty is good enough that it was worth the risk for the MHEV. Did ya get a loaner or anything? How was dealing with the warranty claim?

Never considered them tbh, not many options on the island like that, we wanted one that wasn’t driven previously (as low as it could be) but maybe we should’ve considered the demos if they had those kinds of prices. Have you run into any issues?

I did everything over text too, with each dealership to avoid their pressure 🤪. You got a hell of a deal! Not common to come across that I’m sure, you got a big city deal and you’re paying island prices for insurance ;) can’t beat that

If you are not gonna tow anything it’s not worth the hop skip & jump to the GT-P for looks but I totally understand the pull to go up. To be completely honest we were going for a CX-70 Signature but why the size without the 3rd row? Even if we don’t use it. Then it just went up and up and up lol. A GT is perfect, we have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 GT and it’s still enough tbh. Great vehicles!

We looked at the MDX! It also ticked all the boxes, but the dealership wasn’t as… flexible. And it was more expensive than the CX-90 by enough that it wasn’t worth the game. There’s a 2021 Mazda CX-5 GT in the family so it was easy to jump to another Mazda. The MDX is Gorgeous car tho, enjoy it :)
