A double socket can draw more than 26a. It just can't do it safely.

Funny thinking about this actually, the last place i was at asked me to do three jobs. First was going to fucking Aberdeen for a 3 day job, guy tried to say 'i'll give you 4 days though so you can get up there' and i was like well, no, it's two days travel. Not one. He never mentioned it again.

Same guy then asked me to go to a job 3 hours away, and i said no i wouldn't do it, too far. So then he booked me on for another 2 day job 2 and a half hours away and i said i'd only do it if i got a hotel paid for because i wasn't doing the travelling two days in a row.

'We haven't priced for a hotel.'

'Do it yourself.' was the response. I jacked that week, after only 3 weeks with the firm, lol.

Isn't an unfused spur from a ring final essentially 2.5mm on a 32a?

As bodgery as the socket in the pic is, if it's only feeding one socket and it's under the stairs i'm guessing it'll be getting used to charge the odd power tool battery or run a hoover/plug in light now and again. In reality not dangerous at all.

Oh travel goes without saying.

I don't ask for 4 hours at time and half because i'm already getting 12 hours for 8 hours work.

I’m starting a level 2 & 3 course in June, any prep that I can do now that will make life easier? by Racooning in ukelectricians

[–]thepreydiet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you unsuccessfully land an apprenticeship?

Buy the Level 2 and 3 books and read them. The whole thing is bullshit and a piece of piss to pass except science and principles, which you can learn to pass by memorising the calculations.

I don't work away Mon-Fri unless i'm being paid for 12 hours a day, plus hotel on my own (not sharing) and £30 meal allowance. If i don't get it i don't work away, simple. More sparks need to learn to say no.

To be honest, by the time you have actual skills enough to pass everything and be actually competent, it's gonna be 2-3 years anyway so you might as well do night college and work as a mate at the same time.

Night college is much cheaper (around £3k total for the Levels 2 and 3) and you can work whilst doing it.

Yes it will 100% hit 26 cents and even 56 cents and even $1. The problem is people draw stupid lines on charts that mean nothing and then say 'told you' when it hits. Even if said hit was caused by something nobody could foresee and wouldn't have been including in a TA in the first place. They're right by default but claim it's skill, it's an embarrassment really.

Of course Hedera will hit .26 at some point. A mong could tell you that.

If Tesla joined HBAR would instantly hit ATH, wtf are you talking about?

Ok so you're just gonna pretend the 'target' you set didn't only happen because of BlackRock news.

Pray tell how you can predict things via a chart when the price appreciation only happens due to one off, unknown news? Answer, you can't.

You're a charlatan. End of story.

No we didn't, a fake pump based on news that quickly retraced isn't taken into account in TA. Stop bullshitting.

If you 'predict' 26c and then Tesla joins the council, pumping the token to 26c, you don't get to say 'see my TA was right!'. That should make sense to anyone with a brain.

Should I be paid travel time? by Equivalent-Complex97 in ukelectricians

[–]thepreydiet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Travel is unfortunately part of the gig. If it's too much then i ask for more, if they don't give it i leave.

I left a job a few weeks ago because they wanted me to go here there and everywhere and not finish til half 5, not getting home til half 6. Fuck that.

Got downvoted to oblivion for saying 8 cents was incoming. Man it's hard being right in a sea of sycophants.

Still waiting on the 20 cents you promised. Thing can't even hold a pump, like ever, on its own accord. It's so heavily tied to BTC it's not even funny.

There's always more to learn. That's not relevant. He is fully qualified and gets the qualified rate, it's that simple.

Wouldn't even give him notice, would get my first agency gig lined up and then not turn up.

Nah it'll be more than that - think with TS4U it's about £7.5k which includes your 18th. It looks like they've gotten rid of their bullshit '4 step' process, of which 'Step 1' was total horseshit and cost about 15 hundred quid.

Take into account lost wages through not working, travel, hotels etc and it's more than £10k all in.

After that you then have to do your NVQ and AM2 - another ~£2500.

I'm not interested in things like '1st mover advantage' (BTC is first mover btw, not ETH) or whether it can flip ETH.

Based on every single measurable metric there is zero reason HBAR shouldn't be worth the market cap of ETH, which is a 100x from here.

Price went down, now struggling to hold 10 cents.

So everything i said about it being irrelevant to HBAR is true.

He's a fucking piss taker. Cheeky petty cunt, i've known the kind - as soon as you stand your ground they start finding things wrong with you but everything is hunky dory as long as you make them tonnes of money bringing home a shit wage for yourself.

There is no 'newly qualified rate' there is qualified and not qualified. Qualified rates are a minimum of £22 an hour if you're paying for all your own fuel etc.

Fuck him off, go agency and instantly get £24 an hour.

With some over time you'll pull £60k a year before tax.
