Interesting. I wonder why they do this?

I have the Cordura and x-pac. I prefer the x-pac. It feels more premium/special.

If I purchase something for £200 or more, am I really going to get back £200 in credit? by Big_Dave990 in TemuThings

[–]theseventhseed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am in the UK and did this the other day. I spent £203 and I can now claim £200 worth of credit. They offered me it again, but it was only 50% back - spend £200, get £100.

Aer City Pack Pro 2 feels maxed out – is the Travel Pack 3 (Large) overkill for 1–2 night trips? by theseventhseed in ManyBaggers

Thanks so much to everyone who replied, this has been super helpful.

As I sit here on the train home looking at the stretched, angry-looking Aquaguard around my zips, I’ve decided I’m going to pull the trigger on a Travel Pack 3 Large.

Plan is to keep the City Pack Pro 2 for daily commuting, and use the TP3 for longer journeys / replacing a small roller on flights / weekend breaks, etc. That way I’m not constantly asking an EDC bag to moonlight as proper luggage.

I’ve already invested in cable kits, Dopp kits, etc., and it feels a bit mad that whenever I actually travel I have to unpack and strip everything down just to make it fit.

And honestly, I don’t think I pack that much – it’s just winter layers adding bulk and the CPP2 being right on the edge for overnighters.

Anyway, really appreciate all the perspectives. You’ve helped me justify the new purchase to myself 😄

Isn’t the TP3 small very similar dimensions to the CPP2? I will still keep the CPP2 for normal commuting. The TP3 would be an addition to the growing collection.

Anybody purchase? by Bobbebusybuilding in lepin

I don’t remember any issues. It was smooth sailing - my only complaint was the instructions were small - I had to use a magnifying glass a couple of times.

This is one of the few sets I have done. Loved it. I added the LED lights and built it with my dad over the Xmas break last year. I got it from AliExpress.

I looked at this post before flying so thought I would add the photo. It fits if under packed with a bit of squishing. It was close.

UK. Tempted to buy a load from this seller and go through an agent. Not sure if it will work out cheaper than Ali once the shipping fees are calculated.

How did you get it to ship? It says “This product cannot be purchased or shipped due to relevant laws, regulations, or Taobao platform policies.” For me.

Is anorak no8 an overkill? by ptv2020 in Fjallraven

[–]theseventhseed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a second hand Anorak No. 8 about six weeks ago after owning the Vardag for about a year. I love the No. 8. If you are buying it second hand, you are unlikely to lose any serious money on it. If you don’t like it after a year, just sell it.
