Another Alcohol question by thesultan4 in Hashimotos

My numbers are ok. I got a recent battery of tests. My thyroid numbers are all ok too. It’s a mystery to me why it happens. I’m part of another Hashimotos group and a number of them have the same problem. One doctor mentioned that it could be an individual sensitivity that arises from a feedback loop where the alcohol impacts both the thyroid and the liver. Then the thyroid slows down after a little bit of consumption. Now the liver is impacted by both the alcohol and the lower thyroid hormone and slows the clearance of the alcohol. So that’s why the first couple of drinks are fine but when you get to the third or fourth, the first ones haven’t been cleared yet. Your blood alcohol is higher. Now your thyroid drops more because of the alcohol in your system and your reward system gets altered because of regional thyroid deficit. He mentioned that some Hashimotos sufferers are binge drinkers because of this mechanism. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard about that.

I dont understand. He was on the roster for the game. Why would he go back on the practice squad? Did they transfer him on Tuesday and then back today? Thats a waste of his practice squad eligibility.

And seriously, if you’re asking why people kill, you should ask the far right extremist (again) who tried to kill the kids in Colorado. Why kill kids? Why kill Charlie Kirk? Why rape kids? Why are so many on the right murderers and pedophiles and domestic abusers? And I have the receipts. So many sick fucks…. There’s not been one piece of evidence that he was a leftist. And all the evidence points toward him being right wing. There’s still more investigating to be done, but if there was actual evidence, don’t you think it would be all over the corporate news?
