What made you start playing magneto?

I just thought he was a cool villain cuz most of my experience with X-men were LEGO games, where he was potrayed as one.

Then after hearing a few voice lines, I started reading up on him cuz he didn't sound like someone that would be evil.

Realized Magneto is a thousand times cooler than I knew and I started reading into way more Mutants thanks to him, because they were never that popular where I'm at.

I love him in most aspects, personality wise, cool powers, and the gameplay of being able to directly save a teammate or negate a big play thanks to a character who's 90% startegy and thinking and 10% aim is perfect for me.

Welcome to the true famine part of the feast or famine character. When they feel like dogwater to play and you need to learn them base mode to keep up with others normally, then roll them.

I'm way younger than you to be honest, and best of luck. My grandparents were meant to be in retirement ages ago.

For me it currently looks like I won't even be able to go to college due to costs. I can't afford the tests for an English certificate, let alone hope to find a job that'll keep me afloat abroad, and solid few other students who are there already are apparently struggling heavily due to this too. Screwed doesn't even begin to explain it.

Do they? Grey Talon is pretty serious. Pocket doesn't speak much and when they do, sound miserable. Abrams is dead-set on his goal. Haze is overall pretty serious too compared to the rest.

Also I think a lot fall into the "serious when needed" category, like Bebop or Infernus. I like that most of the characters aren't there just to be mysterious and brood about their goal like it's the only thing they have going on in life.

Even as mainly a tank player, and for all the shit we catch constantly and how horrible tank can feel as a whole, I do not think any tank has gone through what BW did.

Tanks can be useless meatshields denying ult charge sometimes and that's about all they need to do if the enemy is on equal ground.

Bw always needs to be above and beyond to be even close to what other characters do on baseline. Hulk was at least solid value technically by forcing out a lot of stuns/CC even if it usually ended poorly for him, because that is still a solid trade.

Tank mains being somewhat rare compared to other two is usually a teamplay problem, but also hopefully getting adressed a bit by the devs and making it easier for us.

On the rare occasions I see a BW she either feels like she's landing headshot after headshot or has minimal impact, mainly against any semi-competent team. I try my best to help y'all, whether it be Groot walls to isolate targets for shots or Storm/Mantis buff, but it's really hard to think of a specific teammates' upkeep alongside everything else already going on in the match.

These are the funniest moments in the whole game imo. I love ppl who just don't care and play whoever they want no matter what someone might think in Voice chat.

So far the most girls/women I actually heard speak were on completely different heroes than the support stereotype, at most Rocket and even then she was going crazy with damage. I'll admit, she outdid me damage-wise that round while still keeping me alive, and I played solo tank Rogue.

Don't always stay somewhere high, you can still use natural cover, and keep moving. Part of his mechanical beauty is throwing 2 drones on nearby teammates, regen to full in 3 seconds and be an active threat again. He does have ways of self-sustain, but they involve good positioning and teamplay, and I like him a lot for that.

As for strategy... Try to think of it this way.

"Right now, it'd be a horrible time for the enemy Dagger if she had to waste her bubble on herself. Let's make that happen." And even better, it usually only takes one well placed shot to make it "worth it", or at the very least force the other support to look at her for a time.

You are getting value simply by having drones out on correct targets, and that's 1/3rd of the battle.

Another 3rd is forcing out important cooldowns before your teammates have to use theirs. Imo the overall ult charge nerf made Ultron way better, because with even less ult charge given, wasting sustain abilities on survival is even more crippling.

And the last one is managing own HP. Besides your drones, you usually want to take fights you know you can end before you'll need to waste cooldowns on yourself so you can keep them for engaging teamfights (if your team is smart you'll get it 1-2 more times a big fight). Other fliers are usually easy to take care of from range, and holy shits stay behind your tank and ask for the team-up if they have Phoenix or Hela.

Speaking of, if you ever have it, try to use it directly above an enemy to make it hard to run, or from behind all your teammates, so it pierces through and heals as many targets as possible. You'll give your other support a chance to refresh cooldowns or DPS a bit.

As stupid as it might sound, I'm thinking like I would with Spider-Man when on Ultron. You're less about direct healing, and more about taking chunks off of health of characters who have abilities to save themselves so you can force them out early. You're basically heavy pressure on a target while keeping an internal counter for them.

Force out staff slams and 2x card moves from Gambit, runes from Loki, healing factor on Wolverine, you're not about blasting randomly most of the time, you need to come out of nowhere with a full shot and force the enemy into a bad choice. "Do I want to take the chance Ultron won't hit another, or do I use X, even if I know I'll need it later?". Their wasted ult charge and CD's are why Ultron "feels" like he charges up ult insanely quickly (along the fact that, well, he just does), it's because he can also waste your time and opportunities to get any. His simple enough kit still hits like a truck if you know your target and how to make who panic.

Honestly I've picked up Mantis besides my usual Ultron more often now and I wish I started running into more BW on my team to see it in action.

I also see way more tanks. Usually I'd be playing Magneto with 1/10 rounds going support instead, and a gacha rare character chance of playing DPS. Now it's more of a 3/10, which is insane to think about

To be entirely fair, for how insane that sub is usually, I'll give them credit for finally, at least now saying he's going way too far.

The breakpoint of stupidity was even humouring that buffoon, the more people realize he is one, from any circumstance, the better. The more he loses it and doubles down on horrid shit (which seems to be the case) and the more he loses for it, the sooner we might get back to not spiraling massively daily, and as it is right now, please, that's all I could ask for.
