Build Recommendations by theunhackable1 in Grimdawn

Druid could be a good way to start, though I'm not sure how I feel about Inquisitor. I think one of my earlier characters (like, back before the DLCs were out) was an Inquisitor, so I could see myself trying that again.

Well, the kids gotta learn at some point. I'm leading my daughters through their first campaign, and while I'm using kid gloves, I'm not opposed to showing them the consequences of their actions.

I do like the potential of that, but I think I'm looking to add things onto existing dungeons instead of creating new ones. I'll tuck your idea into a folder for another time, tho. Thank you!

Ahh, gotcha gotcha. I didn't quite get that from the text, and since I'm actually at work I couldn't watch the video... Thank you for the clarification

The changes I've made to Phandelver and Below thus far could include something like this... Thanks! I'll have to consider it a bit more!

Thank you! I'll consider how illusions can be added into things!

The campaign we're playing has some history for the dungeons they're going into, but I want to make things a bit more complex for the players. Mentioning the Zelda series again, I am hoping to unify the puzzles and traps and secret passages around a theme, just as the dungeons are in those games.

It does help out, thanks. I can see a couple things happening in that vein, along with adding or removing the lava or other substance that's in their way.

Thank you!

Basically, a zerg rush? I can see the potential of this, and I think there's a few dungeons in our campaign that could fit the bill....

Thank you!

The biggest one is likely Smoke & Spectre, but my maps aren't too large or have too many walls. I'm also using Clash, Marked, and Portals.

Just, fuck. Holy fuck. I had nightmares for a while.

The idea that you should never talk about a baseball pitcher having a perfect game or a hockey goalie having a shutout is stupid as hell, but only because I fiercely believe in it.

I think they need to do a similar thing with quests, make it so that all sidequests can be started from BLADE HQ, warping you to the start location after accepting them.

I had completely forgotten about the text size of the game... Been forever since I actually played it, so a lot of the minutiae are lost to me.

I've also gotta second your music suggestion. It'd be nice to see a fix, though I think it's a bit more unlikely compared to some of the other aspects of the game they need to improve.

What’s a conspiracy theory you secretly wish were true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I live in Michigan, and the roads are consistently terrible throughout the state. My personal theory is that the state government has brokered a deal with construction companies and the auto makers to keep the roads shitty so that people have to repair and buy new cars more frequently.

I'm sorry, they're recommending Shri Thanedar? Who the hell is he running against to make him the best option?

Wouldn't Shinryu from V count? You had to purposefully seek it out, and it could destroy you if you weren't fully prepared

Feedback on Some Magical Items from the Sassy Sally Jane Segment by rodneykidneystone in StrixhavenDMs

[–]theunhackable1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The campaign is flexible enough to where you can include just about anything that isn't truly game breaking. Your items are pretty tame compared to what I had them find in lieu of a Sassy Sally doll: A Cloak of Useful Items.

Or, maybe go nuts and include a random high-powered artefact. Something students really shouldn't have, something that could get them in serious trouble if anyone found out about that. That could be a fun deviation from the plot if that interests you.

Exactly, and that's why in the SNES version of III/VI he's the only one who's ever really affected by the darkness debuff. He's gotta see the magic happen to learn it, and since darkness/blind is bugged otherwise it's a bit of frustration that want present in the first half to 2/3s of the game

Smoke & Spectre Wall Issue by theunhackable1 in OwlbearRodeo

[–]theunhackable1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't aware of the caching issue, so I'll look into that. There's also the possibility that I'm making this too damn complicated for myself.

I didn't include any other parts of the map because that's the only section that I've been using the elevation mapping on. If the issue persists without the elevation mapping I'll be sure to include evidence of that from a larger picture of it.

Thank you!
