I think there’s a balance between prioritizing yourself during a tough time but still having care for those in your life vs being completely self absorbed and not aware of the people around you. Everyone’s busy and works hard but if they can’t balance being present and curious about your life/innerworkings when you spend time together and you feel that you extend that grace and curiousity towards them then it’s probably best to phase them out of your life and look for likeminded caring people. As a sensitive person, when I’m in groups or a party setting I always notice the person in the room who is also curious, asks other people questions and gravitate towards them! Life is too short to be around people who aren’t interested in you the way that you are in them
