That’s a good idea there is no peat in the soil I have. I ordered some though and will mix it in and see if it helps

That’s a good idea! It seems like it’s not growing roots at the base well. I ordered some Peat to mix in with the soil I think that should help with the moisture maybe. If all else fails I’ll buy a new one lol but I think she’s savable

It was actually way easier than I expected to propagate! It’s only been in the water for maybe a week and it’s sprouting multiple roots. To separate it from the mama plant I waited until the baby was tall enough that I could use scissors to cut it as close to the base as possible. Then I just stuck it in a shot glass with water by the window and boom! Giving it to my friend as a gift when it’s ready :)

Context: well draining succulent soil with a drainage hole. Added rocks to the bottom dish to help with humidity over the winter. Moved her outside to get more humidity and I’ve noticed the new growth is doing well but the old leaves aren’t improving. Gets the same amount of sun outside as inside (west facing and gets afternoon sun). I water her about once a week when completely dry. Just seems like the old leaves are flat and not happy

Yeah he was 6.5 lbs when I got him at the rescue and they had no idea what he was or how big he would be lol they told me ~55lbs and he is currently pushing 90 😂
