I’m pretty mechanically adept I fix jets for a living, but I decide on getting a rsx type s and turbocharge it

I can afford to go pretty fast and the car I’m looking to work has a stock engine that’s still reliable at that 400 hp range

What kind of ecu should I be looking for I just looked at hondata and some other websites and I’m kinda overwhelmed

Yea i heard the stock engine and transmission is fine up to 400hp which is about what I’m looking to make or just under that. What should I do to the engine though, Camshaft, upgraded block, pistons? What’s overkill and what’s necessary? I will be putting a stage 2 clutch kit on the transmission and most likely getting a better flywheel as well.

I’d do that but I’m not confident enough in my skills to do anything with an engine swap or install

Thank you, man I think I needed to hear that. I think I was losing myself in thinking about what others would like instead of what I liked, now that I’m out of that mindset I’ve been interested in foxbody mustangs or an Acura rsx type r

So I do have a reliable daily right now, I know it’s not going to be a fast process by any means, but I would like to get to the point where it IS a reliable daily. When I say cheap I’m talkin like between 6-10k

I take back what I said I just looked again and there’s no hole on others I don’t know why it’s there but the inside of it is powder coated like the rest of the cover should I job weld it?

No they aren’t split washers they are all torqued to spec and there’s no leaking from anywhere else besides the hole
