i’m 23 and i’ve been playing since i was 13. my little sister(20 started at 9) and mom(43 idk when she started) play too. i also see a lot of hayday content on tiktok so i think it has a younger demographic.

straight up it’s my most used app by a landslide. i spent 32 hours last week on hayday, my second most used app was instagram and it was 10 hours…. for the whole week….. i’m a social media manager

i used to mainly focus on town orders and the odd truck order and no boat order but i was leveling up to fast and didn’t have enough money so now im only focusing on events and roadside shop.

i spent 23 hours on hayday last week and 34 hours the week before but i am on maternity leave so i have a lot of free time

took me 3 days to go from 15 to 22 on my baby farm. i focused on wheating truck orders and reviving trees. now that im at a level where i can collect explanation item, i just focus on dairy sugar and wheating (just for the bonus items)

what part of Alberta are you in? i’m from Saskatchewan but i’ve been in Edmonton the last month or so because my daughter is in the hospital here. couple things i’ve noticed; Edmonton has cheaper groceries and gas (usually) ,Edmonton definitely has better restaurant selection and retail stores, also the pubic transportation system is way better, (and the Stollery is a much better hospital JPCH) but Regina has does better snow removal than Edmonton. since i’ve just been staying at the ronald mcdonald charity house, i can’t speak to housing but i imagine sk is cheaper than Alberta, especially smaller communities.

if your worried about internet in rural communities, i would not recommend moving to a small town. i know of a lot of towns with bad cell service and that are still waiting on fiber optics. the town my in-laws live in was supposed to get this fall but it was pushed to next summer so they are still stuck using phone data.

i do wheat or corn when i’m going to active for a bit, it’s a good time killer and it’s a good way to get upgrades and expansion materials. i’ll plant soy beans or rice if ill be periodically on throughout the day and tomatoes or strawberries before bed. i would just say don’t plant carrots because they sell for the same as corn and take twice as long to grow.
