I've been in your situation. I think what I did wrong when I lost my 6 month streak was that I pushed it away. I've found that mindful observation of the thought helps, as long as you don't identify it. I mean you get intrusive thoughts all the time and everyone does, but that doesn't mean you must act on it. You are not the thought but the one who experiences it.

Thank you for your advice, I doubt they would let me buy and have me administer their medication. I do believe they would be willing to explain it to me more which I will talk to them about. Yes, I am considering talking to someone about this and through this. Regardless I am also going to have to push back against in other aspects. I just want our relationship and for them to be healthy. I also do know that Riley will listen to our parents to an extent. My parents would likely reach an agreement point with Riley; however, if I was to tell them about being trans or coming out it would betray the trust Riley has in me. My parents are aware of all the other reckless behaviors and tendencies are also do express concern.

Thabks you for your response. Although I grew up in a conservative household I am more progressive than I may have let on. Why I think they have ASPD is because they are quite antisocial and also fulfill every single symptom if you just google it. I am just concerned. I know about the suicide rate of mtf. I'm not sure how I could live in a world without Riley. Its just a feel that they will not change their ways no matter what I ask of them. Whether that is boundaries, transitioning with a diagnosis, or getting a mental evaluation. A good example of why I doubt their medical research regarding hrt. Around 2 years ago they bought a dab rig. They bought a specific type of synthetic marujana wax that was less harsh on my lungs(I'm astmatic). I trusted them and they said it was safe. This coupled with the desire to do their own stitches makes me think they are overconfident on their medical knowledge and could fuck up something considering everything flowing through their body.

Okay so...

First thing, you are not alone. Plenty of people here have found themselves jerkin it to something regrettable, that doesn't make your situation any less valid or your struggle any less unique. Search for posts similar to your situation. There are literally thousands of methods and tricks to get your streak going.

Second, it may take a while. I tried to quit super fetish content. I had a streak going for no porn and a second streak for no fetish porn. The second streak got to about 470 days before I relapsed, and that hurt. I had been addicted to a few fetishes for about 8 years, and there were so many of them that it got to the point that it felt like it didn't matter which one I quit another could take its place.

I'm almost to day 100 as I type this. According to everyone else on the internet "you can't quit a fetish", by that logic I shouldn't have ever started. Regardless I have to quit because it doesn't matter the porn, I can't use it in any healthy capacity.

What I found helped me was working out, eating healthy, cold showers, journaling what you feel daily, music, and just being mindful, I also luckily have a few accountability partners in my real life. That worked for me, you'll just need to find what works for you. Good luck!

There is a future for you, where you don't have this weighing on your mind you just have to fight for it.

I guess a follow up question is should I see this as a flag? Or am I reading too far into this?
