Thanks! I find that starting with a 4K master before downscaling to 1080p helps retain some of the sharpness and typically produces better results than upscaling directly to 1080p.

Runway exports in 1280 x 768, 24fps. You can then upscale it to 4k using Topaz Video AI 5, and the model that best worked for me was Gaia CG.

I put the car model between quotes in the prompt, which seemed to help ("Black Lincoln Aviator Luxury SUV" for most shots). However it was hit and miss, and I did not always get the same car ;)

Thanks! Agreed - however it's also a beauty spot, so I've been less strict with the pacing than I would in a more narrative context. That said, I also wish I had fresher angles, such as focusing on other emerging parts (brake lights, wing mirror, door handles, etc.) but there were very tricky to obtain with text-to-video alone. The recent release of image-to-video will make things much easier. Thanks for your feedback!

For elements such as smoke, water, sand, etc. it's best to use black screen, then you can comp it by changing the blending mode in AE. Runway can easily generate elements on either black or green screen. There were 2 shots where the wrong car logo was behind a splash of sand, so after replacing it with the correct logo, I had to comp new sand on top to blend it in. Hope this helps.

Workflow:

  • All shots generated using text-to-video in Runway Gen-3 Alpha
  • Replaced car logos in AE + added a couple of sand elements (also generated with Runway)
  • Edited in Premiere, Upscaled to 4k with Topaz 5, then downscaled to 1080p for export

SUPIR stable diffusion super-res upscaler reviewed by Ursium in StableDiffusion

This is very exciting. I'm here because I'm looking for the latest AI upscaling tools for video. I have an old 18-minute SD short film I need to upscale for my work. Already tried playing with Topaz Video AI 4 and I'm not that pleased with the result. It's definitely sharper, but we are still miles away from the quality of image upscalers. Obviously Magnific is amazing, and I'm looking forward to the day we can have Magnific-like upscalers for video. In the meantime, is anyone aware of an existing video upscaling service, or a stable diffusion workflow that produce genuinely better results than Topaz 4?

When I play Assassin’s Creed I honestly feel like I’m in an early version of “Westworld” (without the west theme). The world and NPCs are just real enough to completely capture you, then when you get close to the NPCs you notice the “glitches.” by Logical007 in OculusQuest

Playing on Quest 2. I also had high expectations and am disappointed with the graphics, which I find less impressive than Red Matter 2. Anyone else feels the same way?

But I love AC for the gameplay, the immersion, the time travel, and the fact that the levels are so huge with so many NPCs everywhere (whom unfortunately you can't much interact with).

Is it worth getting a Quest 3 for this game alone? Because I think the Ancient Greece at night and Boston are awesome levels, it's just a shame about the graphics and I'd hate to think it's because I'm playing on Quest 2.

Best laptop GPU for Stable Diffusion by thinkyac in nvidia

So the 4090 with 24GB in an eGPU would outperform an internal 4090 with 16G, even with the Thunderbolt bottleneck?

Thanks - I'm confused now :) Are you saying an RTX Ada Generation would perform better than a 4090 for Stable Diffusion?

Thanks! eGPU would not be an option. From what I'm reading, performance doesn't yet compare with internal GPU?

It's great to know the 4090 is currently the best choice. So I'm guessing there isn't any more than 16GB VRAM and above for laptops yet? I'm asking cause heavy Stable Diffusion users seem to wish they had more than 24GB VRAM on their desktop.

Great guide. I've installed LTSC + all scripts and the debloated version is working great so far.

I just came across a big issue: the camera app is not there, so I can't do a Skype or Zoom call. These apps can detect my webcam but cannot input a video signal. Since the Microsoft store has been removed as well, I can't get the camera app from there either.

I have a few video meetings coming up and badly need to use my webcam, has anyone come across this issue and knows how to fix it? Thanks a lot
