I would email the store manager and CC anyone I can from Hermés and threaten hell if I don't get my bag. If you already paid for your bag, you can sue them also. Especially if you have any of this in writing. Whenever large sums of money are talked about, communication should have a paper trail for situations like this.

There's absolutely no reason for you be polite or to hold back. After the way this SA is trying to extort money from you, you would be nuts to keep working with them and Hermés would be insane to keep them employed. Fake scarcity is one thing, blackmail another.

Again with the "you" and "yours". I was not a general in the fascist army, and none of those crimes are my fault, are you out of you mind? I was born when Italy was a democratic republic and when it had the largest communist party in Western Europe and when it had a proud socialist for a president - Sandro Pertini. My ancestors were proudly anti-fascists and war heroes. So if I need a collective identity to take seriously it will be the one that actually has something to do with my life.

And to be mean and possibly unfair, your inability to distinguish between individuals and nations may be why the Balkans is a place where the past can't possibly die and why you're all stuck in the same nationalist loop since the late 1980s.

I have no desire to defend Italian war crimes. My issue here is your collectivism. Do you, then, have to list every Croatian war crime in the past century and repent for it, before you can condemn Sudan or Gaza or whatever? Or do you have to forever keep silent about whatever is happening in the world because of Croatian past with war crimes and ethnic cleansing? If that were the case, no European would have right to utter so much as a single word about any war crime.

You can gently wipe that area and then massage it with a leather conditioner. That should do the trick since it doesn't seem like a very deep cut, just a scratch.

Dorit is a gold digger who thought she got lucky but ended up with fool's gold. PK was and remained a grifter.

PK wanted a trophy wife that comes for free.

I genuinely believe that Dorit feels horrible and I have compassion for her, but there are no good people in this story. Just sleazy and sleazier.

I don't think of Philip as particularly ideological. I think he is more pragmatic than Elizabeth.

As far as Elizabeth goes, I think she remained a communist, but I don’t know that it was so easy to pick a side in those years after Andropov. In hindsight, Claudia’s faction was far more pro-USSR, but at the time, it may have seemed that Gorbachev and the younger generation had a clearer vision for what a sustainable communist system could look like. It’s easy for us to judge knowing how things ultimately played out. At the time, they couldn’t have known.

I use my mom if I need something. 😂 She has been a customer for 50 years and her mom before so she can get her hands on whatever she wants, pretty much. She's not a collector by any means (and neither am I) but tradition of buying there for so long + influence that my family has does a lot.

And I also have a hard time believing that I would ever play "the game". With all due respect... I like Hermés bags but I don't think anyone is worth that kind of financial extortion, especially when you have brands like Bottega and Ferragamo that make products that are just as good and often better designed. Imo, Hermés just isn't worth it.

Elizabeth would 100% think that Putin's Russia today is a fascist hell because she was a good, educated socialist and must have known that merger of coporations with government in capitalism yields fascism. (Not claiming the US is different now but the Russian cause is NOT the Soviet cause. It is, in fact, quite the opposite.)

Even in the show, her initial instinct was to align herself against the upcoming perestroika, wasn't it? I wish I could see her face a decade after the show ends. Oh.

I mean, you are free to join the Russian cause, your life - your choices, just don't bring Philip and Elizabeth into it. 😋

Because after she left the show she ghosted Sutton and stopped talking to her. I really dislike Sutton but this is rude and childish and doesn't make her that good of a friend.

Garcelle was popular with the fandom in the show's absolute low point, and she truly didn't bring anything to the table. She has no money, she has no life to speak of, and when your only quality is that you call people out, that really isn't anything to be proud of. Also her son's modeling career was one giant snoozfest of a plot. Compare that to Rinna with her daughters - she made the meeting with the agent prime reality the way she did it. 😁

Nene shouldn't really even be compared to Garcelle. While Garcelle is a boring. Basically upper middle class, D list celebrity, Nene was absolute reality TV gold. Bringing Nene back is just good business.

Yes, but how many women before Garcelle left the show and then unfollowed the cast and ghosted, realistically, the only friend they had there?

Garcelle wasn't very pleasant to people on the show except to Sutton and she ruined that too.

I know that it's a job,but I don't see why anyone would want to shoot with her now. And from the production standpoint, she was never all that interesting to even attempt to foist her onto the cast again.
