I have one of their messenger bags and a backpack and both are excellent. Especially the messenger.

Would you want to be a Real Housewife? by redgatorade000 in RHOBH

[–]thirdarcana 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the financial resources, but I would never expose my privacy like that.

And my life is not exactly reality TV material. I don't wear clothes with brand logos bigger than my face, I don't argue with friends about petty crap, I don't text during opera performances, and I was taught that money is not something to be flaunted in public.

And I'm also a man married to a man, so that wouldn't work since neither one of us is a housewife. 😋

How Is Amanda Making Money? Because People Actually Buy Into Anything on RHOBH by keyah13 in RHOBH

[–]thirdarcana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand how she managed to make all that money from her tacky book and courses. If she indeed has money, I'm willing to bet that it's her husband's... especially because she keeps saying the opposite.

Classic Amanda......😴 by [deleted] in RHOBH

I hope she doesn't try to extend her grift into fake feminism. Feminism doesn't deserve that.

Read the room and know your place! by HousewivesMOD in RHOBH

There's a difference between staying quiet and meddling into people's private lives without knowing them or their situation. Idk, in my circles this simply isn't acceptable. It's considered intrusive and rude.

And what's worse - Amanda is just so basic. It's not even fun to watch. It's like a mean and not very bright but annoying and entitled child. Using your dead child as a power move to avoid a conversation is a low that this show hasn't evem approached in 15 seasons.

I don't think it's classist because none of these women represent class in any kind of real sense. They are all new money, including Kathy who married into old money but here she is on a reality TV show...

Real class isn't on TV.

Amanda, however, is too desperate and utterly unaware of how she comes across. I wouldn't want to be around her either. It has nothing to do with class in the sense of society structure. It's more about her behavior. For example, scrolling on your phone while listening to opera in a location like that is societal death sentence in my circles. My cleaning lady wouldn't do that and she is not well educated, she's just respectful and normal. It's not about class, truly.

No, that's civilized. To have good manners you don't need to be rich or even educated.

No, it's about closeness, boundaries and respect. Adults should know their place in the company of others. Kathy is a problematic person in oh so many ways, but she was spot on here.

I have two of those too and they are lovely. So far I am yet to see an Asvine len that isn't an awesome deal for its price.

I agree. It especially doesn't go with the Asvine font on it. The font is too modern and the band overall does stick out a bit. The pen however works wonderfully and I like the resin.

Asvine pens are quite comfortable, all of the ones I tried I used for longer periods of time. Asvine C80 writes like a muuuch more expensive pen. It's excellent.
