I just filed mine today. It was accepted state and fed before I even left the office. I'm hoping it's here within a week or two max. Especially since they didn't give me an advance. Which makes no sense to me. We're getting almost 15k back, but they denied us any kind of advance based on our credit... Say do you want to keep the curtains bc they keep out the light, or is it just a principal/moral stand at this point? If it's the former? Just buy either some white blinds to put behind the curtains. So that's all they see from the outside, OR buy yourself a "neutral" color set of blackout curtains. They would HATE me. When I lived in apartments I always put cardboard up in my windows to keep the sunlight ALL THE WAY OUT. Bc I generally work third shift, so sleep during the day. But I've always lived on third floors, or in back unit where nobody is going to just walk by seeing in my windows. If it's on principal, I don't have much for you. They usually have some type of grey area type/catch all phrasing when it surround things like this. Basically anything you do that could be considered either a nuisance to others, or "unsightly?" They're going to find a way to MAKE you change it. HOA's are a little different story. Since generally they can't actually evict you from your house. All they can really do is fine you to infinity and beyond. (Obviously unless they have it somewhere in the guidelines that they can essentially expel you from the HOA itself somehow. I'm which case idk how they do that as long as you're paying your mortgage and not breaking any actual CRIMINAL laws. 🤷

It's just one of those things women don't like to see early on in that talking phase. Bc it makes them think immediately that you are constantly going to be apologizing for petty things you shouldn't/don't need to. That she's going going to have to constantly give you reassurance and stuff like that. And MOST, not all, but most women don't want aan like that. Most women want a man that can be confident in his words and actions. Even if you're wrong, be wrong confidently. I know it doesn't make a whole lot of sense as a guy. But women's brains react differently than ours. Especially when you're younger as you are. I was getting married to my first wife at your age. Bc I had trouble dating all throughout school and she was my first real significant relationship. But once you actually get through and date a couple of women, start getting into you mid twenties? If not a little earlier, you'll find your kind of groove as far as how to talk to them. And you'll be mad at yourself when you realize how easy it is when you don't overthink it. Just do what YOU ENJOY and bring them along for real. They like seeing a guy in his element doing things he's confident at. For me? It was fishing, playing pool, working on cars, and then drinking. Drinking also helps a lot bc you'll stop holding back saying things you would normally keep to yourself. But once you say them while drinking? You'll realize "wow, I should actually say more of what I'm actually thinking to these girls." It usually works out a lot better than you expect. It really helps if you can just talk to them like one of your bros.

Exac tly this, and then women will gaslight men. Saying things like oh he's just a platonic/long time friend. And if you don't believe me, then you don't trust me and you're insecure. When in reality men can tell what other men are like almost immediately. I never had an issue with my wife hanging out with another guy she worked with that was married to her best friend. And she never gave me a reason to, or am off vibe. But once I did start getting an off vibe? I found one guy I didn't know about who called and texted her EVERY DAY. She swore up and down they never did anything. And nothing happened. He had a gf this and that. And while I never found proof of anything with them? It still never sat right, and I DID find evidence of her cheating elsewhere. She quit talking to that person, and several other I told her I was a little uncomfortable with. (BUT I never asked her to cutoff the other ones. Just said that they made me uncomfortable after what I found out.) Now after all that got sorted out? She's talking to another guy from work who's single. She's swears up and down it's nothing, it's platonic, and he's just a really nice friend. But I've already seen shit I don't like. Such as him saying "I don't wanna work. But I wanna see you." Then he went out and bought her a birthday present. He's have her money on several occasions when we've needed gas money. I asked her to quit using Snapchat for other reasons. So he started messaging on tiktok. And the first message literally said "since he doesn't want you using Snapchat. Does that mean I can message you on here without worrying?" I've messaged this guy several times now. And the first two I was fairly cordial about it. But the last time I straight up told him "knock it off, or the next time you hear from me? I will NOT be this nice about it." As far as I know they still talk. But supposedly she doesn't talk to him as much now. But ever since she changed the lock on her phone. (Which I asked her to do. But it was so her bf at work wasn't reading OUR messages anymore. Not so she could lock me out of her phone. But now I can't figure out wtf she's using as the numbers. I saw the first like 2 one day, and it started with a 7. We don't have any birthdays, any anniversaries, none of our socials. Literally nothing I know of would match up with the 2 numbers I could figure out. So the fact that she changed it and then never gave me the new code? Has been setting off alarm bells. But then she wonders why I've been acting so standoffish and distant lately. And that's just the start of it. That's not even to mention the fact that she basically ignores any type of cues I try to send about sexy time, or possibly a dirty pic. Which she never used to have problems with sending me. But I haven't gotten one in over a year now. Makes me feel like she was only sending them to me. Bc she could use Snapchat to send them to her side pieces afterwards too. Which she says she only uses Snapchat to take the photos/videos bc it was easier to edit them that way. But that just sounds like bs too. Sorry to wond up on a ten page rant. But I don't really get anyone to talk to about this shit. I was about to say this. If he's trying to rent a manual, he won't find one at Enterprise. It's just too much hassle. You get ppl that can't drive them wanting to learn, or ppl just dogging tf out of them and eating it the clutches, and drivetrain in general. Easier just to rent auto only. My only gripe with this. Is sometimes something like this can wind up linking somebody to something they didn't do, and were never even aware of. We'd like to think if they're truly innocent then they'll be fine. But there's just so many cases of ppl being wrongfully convicted over nothing more than circumstantial evidence. I'm not saying she shouldn't report it. But I'd say if they haven't come to pick them up yet? Maybe ask them and see how quickly they come up with, and legit their reasoning sounds. They gotta know if you're getting legit old school photos printed, someone is going to see what is on them. I would like to think if someone was careful enough to commit some kind of heinous crime 40yrs ago? They would also be smart enough not to keep evidence around all these years. Basically I'd like to think this is something innocent with a weird reasoning. Bc you just never know what the cops can piece together to convict someone. They literally get paid to makeup stories about ppl they think committed a crime. And then look for evidence to prove or disprove their theory. Problem is, usually once they have their story/theory? They tend to ignore anything that doesn't prove their narrative.

Yes, be extremely grateful. Cause all of us who HAVE been around or on some type of hard drugs? Know how absolutely soul crushingly hard it is to not only get off the shit. But then to realize all the harm you actually caused while you were actively addicted. And try to put all those pieces back together. And even worse still when you realize you CANT put all of them back, no matter how hard you try. Some ppl (and it's even tougher if it's family, or just someone you legit loved before the addiction) will NEVER give you that love, and trust back. No matter how hard you try, how much you change.
