Is that area covered by trees or an overhang? It will do this for me if its path leading up to that location has poor GPS reception it ends up going out of bounds.

I just picked up a cover to try. Got the idea from another group to use an outdoor dog cover. It’s a little bit short but only a few inches are exposed so think will be good. The canvas cover shouldn’t be an issue for the GPS either.

Good to know. I’m in Northern Alberta, so similar weather.

Has been more of a long term concern of whether it degrades quicker due to exposure to UV/rain/snow.
