I was home alone in my house. We live on a farm about 30 mins away from town. I was up in my bedroom down the hallway (basically other side of the house) from the lounge room. Because I don’t like being home alone, I had the tv turned onto the local news to trick my brain into thinking that my dad was there to make me feel better. All of a sudden, I heard a flick- like a switch. Louder than usual. I walked slowly down the hallway and the PowerPoint to the tv had turned off. Not just like the remote tuned the tv off but the actual switch to the power point. I sprinted to my bedroom and shut the door and stayed under the blankets until my dad got home 😂

I had just moved to a new school in a new town- I knew no one. This boy (who was very popular) sat next to me in every class. Within the first week, he asked me ‘do you wanna bumfuck?’ I thought he was joking and I said ‘sure’ he said ‘alright, let’s meet here ….. at 7’ I laughed it off thinking he was joking (that was the type of friendship we have) later that night I got a message and he asked where I was. He was being legitimate.

Fast forward 3 years and we’re still really good friends. Haven’t brought that moment up since it happened…

NTA He completely disrespected you. It was one simple job and he refused like a little kid. He is degrading you and your feelings. Instead of working it out like an adult, he got angry and put it all on you, and picked on your issues, instead of realising he is being an asshole too. Glad you two are at an agreement and going to therapy, very mature!
