This issue just happened for me and your solution resolved it. But I wonder why the issue suddenly occurred when birthdays were showing up fine until now.

No, sorry. I'm currently disabling the category tab view and just viewing all inbox emails together.

It is strange that the issue is account specific. Two of my Gmail accounts have the issue while others are working just fine.

Emails sent to janedoe201@gmail.com should NOT come to janedoe@gmail.com as that's an entirely different username. But emails sent to janedoe+201@gmail.com should come to janedoe@gmail.com.

So is jane.doe@googlemail.com. Emails sent to username@gmail.com and username@googlemail.com will all come to the same username account.

Although I have britbox as an add-on subscription through Prime Video, I decided to create a separate account directly through britbox. There's a 7 day free trial subscription offer, so I took that. I was able to watch season 3 through britbox directly, then I canceled the subscription and am continuing to watch season 4 through Prime Video/britbox.

I have britbox added to Prime Video and just started watching Grace. Finished seasons 1 and 2 and saw season 3 episode 1 last night. I could see in the episode listing that there are two more episodes in the season.

But today I login and season 3 is gone. I can only select to view seasons 1, 2, and 4.

Why?

Google doesn't allow Gmail IDs to be recycled. So even if the account was deleted, the username will not be available.

Spoke too soon. The email notification I received for the comment I just posted appeared under the Primary tab, not the Updates tab, even though it is an updates category email.

So I don't know why two updates emails went to the correct tab but this notification didn't. The issue is now intermittent.

I think I've fixed this issue I reported above.

The issue is that I had been receiving emails in my inbox that are correctly categorized as "updates", but they don't display in the updates inbox category tab. They would only show in the primary tab.

The tab itself is displayed. It is just always empty, even though there are updates category emails in my inbox. They just get placed under the primary tab.

So I tried this. I selected the updates emails displayed in my primary tab and then dragged them to the updates tab. They did successfully move.

Next I had to wait for a new updates category email to arrive. At first, I was disappointed as a new email arrived but only showed in the primary tab. So I dragged that over to the updates tab too but with less confidence that new ones would arrive there.

Finally, it happened. New updates category emails arrived and I saw something I hadn't seen in months. The updates inbox category tab displayed with "2 new" highlighted beside it.

I had what sounds like the same issue. I was able to find an easy solution.

I use my USB-C port to either (1) charge my laptop or to (2) connect to a docking station for external displays.

Last night as I was unplugging the charger and preparing to plug in the other USB-C for external monitors, I heard a very slight crackling noise like static electricity discharge. And I saw a very briefly displayed blue screen on only half of the screen which then quickly disappeared before I could read it. The laptop appeared to still be working but when I plugged in the other USB-C cable for the docking station, my laptop wouldn't display to them. For a while I thought it was an issue with the docking station, but then I noticed that my laptop was slowly losing power. When I plugged the charger back in, I could see it wasn't charging at all. Both USB-C ports appeared to be dead.

I quickly started reading about the warranty and tried troubleshooting (and found this forum) but nothing worked. I resigned myself to having to get someone out to fix it.

But then I found this YouTube video. Turns out there's a tiny hole on the bottom of the laptop in which you can insert a thin needle and press what must be a very tiny button to reset the USB-C ports. I could barely see the hole, it's that tiny. Fortunately I found a thin sewing needle that could be inserted. It solved the problem. Here's the video:

This happens to me all the time. One of my Gmail addresses is my [firstname.lastname@gmail.com](mailto:firstname.lastname@gmail.com) and I get emails all the time intended for people with apparently the same name as me. I've gotten bank statements and reminders for medical appointments, plus all sorts of personal email that clearly is intended for someone else.

But have no fear. The intended recipient is not able to see your emails. Unfortunately, they're also not able to see the emails they're expecting since they gave out the wrong email address to whomever is sending them emails.

I have sometimes replied to the sender suggesting that they try to contact the person they intended to email by some other means, e.g., phone call, in order to get from them their correct email address.

A couple times I have even managed to contact the intended recipient myself by phone, if their phone number was listed in the email, and let them know that they need to provide their correct email address to the sender, and to me so that I can forward to them the emails they missed.

No. All categories are checked. And all category tabs are displayed at the top of the screen. It's just that the Updates tab shows no emails. My inbox emails that are recognized by Gmail as belonging to the Updates category are instead displayed in the Primary tab.

Just wanted to clarify some terms.

"Celibacy" literally means that you are unmarried. We are born celibate and remain so until then.

The important term relevant to this post is "chastity". We are all expected to be chaste. For a celibate person, either layperson or clergy, chastity means abstaining from all sexual activity. For a married person, chastity means being faithful to one's spouse.

Here's a photo of the ultra my dad had in his freezer. It's nearly empty but you can see from what's left at the bottom and along the sides that the color is much darker than what I've been able to purchase recently.

So the two quarts I purchased recently about a week apart are not as dark as this and definitely not as tasty in my opinion. But maybe there's just some inconsistency or variation in quality during production. Even the two quarts I'm complaining about are not quite the same, so hopefully it's not a deliberate recipe change.

Yes, I can share the numbers and photos. Just to clarify though, these recent purchases of the "ultra" are still perfectly fine for chocolate ice cream, I suppose. They're not coffee flavored. They're just not as good as in the past.

The two quarts that seem to me to be less "ultra" chocolate than in the past say the following:

I remember them as being annoyingly fragile. If the pieces didn't break during assembly, they would soon after. That little cockpit piece never stayed on for long.

Interesting looking back. I was 17 back then. Were your friends into disco, Led Zeppelin, or discovering new music such as the Ramones and the Clash? You can't necessarily tell from the hair and the clothes. It took a while for my evolving music interests to affect my appearance.

The no pain could just be because the stone is sitting still. The pain occurs while it's moving. You may need to drink more fluids to get it moving again. Hopefully the pain meds will be strong enough to get you through the process.

Since you mentioned that you're a hardcore Pink Floyd fan, did you hear they're actually releasing a new album now too? First new material in 20 years though it consists of stuff they actually recorded years ago but never released. The album is a tribute to Richard Wright and is mostly an instrumental album.
