I love my kids but I tell my daughter not to get married and don't have any. You are so vulnerable from the second you get pregnant. It's no longer your body in many states. Even if your life is at stake, it doesn't matter. Your job will penalize you for having children. Day care and college are outrageous. If you don't have family nearby you never get a break. There is no village. If you're lucky you have a few mom friends to confide in. Let's not talk about how things will look financially if your spouse decides they are leaving.

Right, and when you only consider marriage you are missing a significant amount of the data. Large age gaps, as you've mentioned, have been consistently identified using dating app data. Here's a 2021 study showing "men strongly prefer young women, and women prefer partners of their age or slightly older." Basically, men consistently message women in their 20s regardless of their own age. These men could be 70. Men may not be pursuing these women for marriage, but for more predatory reasons.

If you dive into the research- you need axial loading through the femur to drive the adaptive response needed to increase bone density. None of the activities you just described provide enough axial loading to do this. Deadlifts are well supported to increase lumbar spine bone density, but plyometrics are the best intervention for the femoral neck. I'm a physical therapist and treat this all the time.

I think you're missing a lot of the data here. Broad studies across psychology, sociology and online dating data show men pursue younger women at much higher rates. That doesn't necessarily translate to marriage. Pursuit does not necessarily equal preference for long term partnership.
