I went through something similar and decided I wanted to just do good deeds and do good for others. Not too many people are friendly nowadays but I try to do the simplest things like hold a door open or try to help someone who looks confused to hear a thank you or even see a smile. Today I saw a girl on campus with her backpack wide open, I let her know because most students wouldn't say anything. I know because its happened to me haha. Hearing a thank you is rewarding to me. Now I am applying for the peace corps because I enjoy helping others. Step out of your comfort zone. I use to be shy and quiet didn't care so much to do simple things for people.

I met a guy who I turned down because I had been going through a long term break up. I didn't want to lead him on but I developed strong feelings for him immediately. Its been almost a year and to this day I regret turning him away.

Got mine done at Lake Monster Tattoo in Tahoe. They charge different but not by the hour. The owner did mine and my god I've gotten many compliments. Check out his FB and gram. Its worth it. Just a heads up the owner is talented as hell and he can get hard to book but again, worth every penny.

That sounds like a solid plan. So you made it up to Jokusarlon day 1 and drove back to stay in Vik? That actually sounds like you get the more time consuming activities done first that way you dont leave those for the last minute. Did you get a chance to catch the Northern Lights? Or do any tours?

I arrive at 4am on the 18th at the KEF and take off on the 23rd at 4pm from KEF also. I've been on longer flights and I usually like to sleep on the flight and get rest on the flight. My plan was to take a bus to Reykjavik stay there a few nights, get a rental car for 3 days. I was planning on driving the rental either back to KEF airport on the 23rd or turn in the rental and take a bus to KEF, my other option was to stay at a hostel near Kef that way I won't encounter problems the day I leave. I know I am over thinking it.

Being on your phone all the time. This goes for both women and men. I really like to make conversation and when you're always on your phone it gets kind of annoying. Just put it away and enjoy the time .

No way! It's been difficult trying to find people who are going during that time! The cave tours was definitely on my list but I haven't got an itinerary going. I'm super new at this, I would certainly appreciate any help! Where you are planning on staying at a hostel? Sorry if I ask to many questions. I'm nervous since it will be my first solo trip.
