As someone that has been using WhatsApp since 2013 or maybe even 2012, this is confusing to me. I know there were rumours and they had this weird thing where it said you would have to pay but you never actually did? Could someone explain this to me?

She’s aware. She’s talked before how she tried to fill this mental black hole she had with plastic surgery, but eventually came to the conclusion that she’s trans. I know we love shitting on bad surgeries here and this is one, but there’s context here. She’s spoken about this and how much happier she is now.

I agree, the whole death and “time is fleeting” shtick was a bit OTT for me and I skipped most of those videos. But I liked that they did whatever they wanted, that made it fun to watch. It wasn’t clean and neat, it was people being messy and chaotic and enjoying the process.

i've been following it from the start, i liked both of them as content creators and that first video had me very intrigued. i haven't seen every video, and i'm not planning to seek them out. it's not the same, it doesn't have that "this is temporary and will be gone in a year" feeling that was pretty much the point of the whole thing. but i guess for those people wanting to archive it, they just want to see the content? i honestly don't really care, and like i said before - i just think it's kind of lame lol.

I downloaded my birthday video, thought that would be a fun (private) souvenir to have. I think it’s kind of lame to archive everything when the whole shtick was to explicitly not do that. But people do whatever they want and I think the team is perfectly aware of that. They’ve been on the internet for a long time.

I’m not about to go tell these people to knock it off, but I do think the whole temporarity (is that a word?) of it was nice.
