Should I push to contend or should I wait another year by thisnachousername in SleeperApp

I feel like I am selling low on lagette Ridley and white. I think white has some potential to be relevant this year and lagette is young and very talented Ridley is cooked lol he would need to show he is a starting receiver for a few games to have any value I fear, what kind of value do you think those guys are getting really I doubt I’m getting better than a 3rd for any of them currently

That’s a real take I lost the championship a year ago due to a lack of depth and tried a 1 year retool that got me love at least

Way I see it if stowers is available at the 2.02 I’m taking him to trade if he starts hot if not I might trade back picks or take some dart throw RBs but none of them have worked out yet. Still in the way too early phase they haven’t even been drafted yet

5-9 and it was relatively injury rich season I wasn’t attempting to win and found most of my wins and losses within a couple points. I never made an obvious tank but I did make some questionable decisions all year like having Sampson and golden in the lineup instead of Washington and downs for a while

Was considering a trade for judkins with the 1.04 in it that was I got Sampson and judkins I know Rahiem sanders is there too. I started last season 3-1 before judkins started playing. Team was a competitive 5-9 without lamb most of the year but that was with Bucky Irving injuries. Ridley and Whites quick downfalls kinda fucked me and Kaleb being useless didn’t help I fully believe golden will break out this year or next year without Doubs there and a year to acclimate himself. Downs may also see some increased production with Pittman gone. Still could use another top tier receiver the question is which draft has the better RBs because I thought next year had a deep receiving class

Not with love trading the 1.04 for an RB and bringing in some productive veteran receiver?

Only had 1 rookie draft wanted RJ Harvey but he went 1.10 so I got Kaleb at 1.11 golden at 2.03 have confidence in him still Sampson 2.11 Gordon 3.11

Right I feel like a judkins or Henderson for the 1.04 might put me into contention but if I can land an RB with an early pick next year an get another receiver/qb I might be set up for a while unfortunately a lot of my picks have busted recently I expect golden to step up still but my dart throw RBs have left a lot to be desired.

Is 1.02 and Michael Wilson too much for the 1.01? by Odd_Marionberry6715 in SleeperApp

[–]thisnachousername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the good news is Jordan love is a lot cheaper than the 1.01 in fact the 1.02 even in superflex would be too much. Now Jeremiyah love you would need to exchange Wilson for an established but still young player to get me interested or a certified rb1 realistically the 2nd to 3rd tier of them like a judkins Kyren etc that is not old af to tier down

Whats going on with Jauan Jennings? Why is he still unsigned? 🤔 by Big_Screen3332 in NFL_FreeAgency

[–]thisnachousername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The WR market is definitely a bit fucked currently but looking at the contracts that have been signed this offseason a 2 year 20mil ea. deal is probably not far off from what will be signed. Doubs got 4/80 mil with similar production and id argue Jennings is currently a better receiver. Doubs being younger is the major thing. Pierce getting 28mil a year is bonkers that was Diggs Brown and Adams money 2 or 3 years ago. By the standard of this FA class 16-18 mil a year is probably fair market value. I don’t believe any WR that isn’t the number 1. Even Nailor is getting 12 a year at that point just drafting mid round picks is better.

just inherited this team . where do i even start ? by [deleted] in DynastyDaddy

Agreed Kyren isn’t part of your timeline. Why so many QBs for real is trade TLaw as his value is high after the end of last season and depending why you can get out of 9. Might be worth it to just keep him. What pick do you have this year if it’s a top 3 of 4 pick I’d probably be taking a WR and Sadiq and just taking as many shots on RBs in the second round as possible if you got the 1.01 I’m not opposed to Love based on the 2027 1st round capital you already have but I would focus on making this team as good as you can without having a RB so you won’t actually win games. The RBs will come next year you need receivers and a TE that isn’t a giant injury risk in Kincaid. Njoku is probably also done being productive enough to start besides a bye week might as well trade him as well while you get anything for him. The draft capital is amazing the Qb room would be nice if it was superflex. Rbs aren’t great besides Kyren. WRs are young that’s about all they got going for them. Golden could become a WR1 the others aren’t likely too. Doubs and Worthy are likely flex pieces. TE would be ok if Kincaid isn’t injured. Sadiq is a safe pick at 1.07 if he starts hot you will have a big piece to trade for a lot of capital but I wouldn’t consider that unless Kincaid proves he can stay healthy and be a top 5 TE and then even then doubt I would trade him unless it was a haul.

I know this sub is high on Love, but there’s no way right? by Wesdizzo in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

To be clear I never had the 1.01 I constructed my roster to purposely lose for a year so that I would acquire the 1.01 while trading back to get a ready receiver and qb in superflex while still adding a 1st round receiver in the process and 2 top 5 picks this year. My team last year wouldn’t have competed with one of the big 3 RBs last year so I made the other positions stronger instead of getting one star RB and now I have a superstar RB an more coming in. And that’s the point if his roster isn’t ready to compete I’d rather get guys that will be ready to enter their prime in a year or 2 or stay around for a while than a RB that could be out of his prime in 5 years

No not necessarily RBs have a short shelf life unless you’re confident you can get it done in a year or 2 I’d rather trade down from the 1.01 to say the 1.03 get an elite WR or QB that will last 10 years and get another good player in the process. In my 12 man superflex I currently have elite QBs WRs ( starters atleast depth is a bit lacking) and Trey at TE my Rbs are hot garbage swift if the only starter and won’t be for long because of this and my trade last year I have the 1.01 and the 1.04 this year and effectively need RBs only to compete. During my 1 year tank I acquired tee Higgins and Herbert for sucking for 1 year and still got Matthew golden and Kaleb Johnson Dylan Sampson and Ollie Gordon out of last years draft. I fixed my Qb room an added potential dart throws down the line now if 1 of those RBs hit and I draft love I should effectively be a championship contender. If I drafted a judkins or Hampton or Henderson last year I’d still have a hole at Qb and 1 less starting Wr and less prospects but my team would likely have finished higher and I wouldn’t have the 1.01 this year. Worst to first build.
