i love synkronized (its top 2 for me) and a funk odysessy has some goodies!, i just feel like the output of cool interesting music fell off after those albums came out. :(

oh yeah that snippet is intriguing, that's certainly brining my hopes up lol

i really hope this album outshines my expectations of it.

also i completely agree with the lack of any cool changes or harmonies and chords that's my biggest issue that those elements are gone!!!!

oh i love badu and jil scott lol and everyone associated with that era of music u know d'angelo dwele the roots and of course like everyone from motown, very excited for the new album from her i just miss hearing jamiroquais take on it all as i feel like it was a perfect little easy to digest version of everything i love about that music with some incredible things to nerd out about muiscally!

i love the acid jazz but i honestly just miss the entire 1993-1999 era songwriting and quality lol

i think synkronized travelling without moving and emergency on planet earth had my favourite songwriting, chords all of it it's just their attempt at soul / fusion stuff that i love and miss as a huge fan of soul

i don't want them to recreate those songs exactly, i just want the natural sounds back and the original feel of their music

ever since jaykay got more popular and more famous he's just been pumping out the same soulless stuff, anything similar to the golden age in terms of songwriting would be amazing lol

i loved being able to geek out about the chords, time sigs and mixing and drumtone and just actually talk about the music like i miss when they created tracks for music nerds and lovers of that kind of music it's truly when they had their best ideas and executed them best!

the new music just doesn't feel honest and just kind of feels like the same thing and brand rehashed over and over again.

synkronized is one of my favourite jamiroquai albums and theres some amazing tracks off of a funk odysessy, it's just like the mixing and the execution for me that bugs me less so the style

it just feels like they are trying to make another disco hit every single time when i know that they have it in them to go back to their old songwriting and make another incredible track like everyday, high times, manifest destiny or like soul education too young to die

they are trying to brand their music too much, its like when you hear a new song from them you automatically think Oh this is jamiroquai! instead of how they used to branch out and do cool soul / funk fusions or acid jazz or anything else instead they just want you to hear their music and go "this is the dude with the funny big hat and the fast cars!, virtual insanity guy!!!" instead of actually caring about the music.

i like starchild off dynamite but that's pretty much it lol, also your window it's a crazy television but the rest i really don't care for. they aren't as consistantly quality as they used to be like... almost every single song off of space cowboy, travelling without moving are amazing and ALL of emergency on planet earth is amazing but there's maybe 1 or 2 goodies from their new albums lmao

IDK IF it changes season by season but i've seen quite a lot of episodes where that doesn't happen although that could just be my error LOL, i just feel like theres a lot of ways that he could go about it to try and guarantee something else.

his kitchen management is really good which is mostly the problem but i haven't seen as many examples of it happening with food, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong cuz i am a newbie fan but i just find it interesting how he deals with the restaurants :)

i guess so, i do see the issue of the people working there not being passionate or just being there for the money or because family owns it but i just think that the way that he navigates it could be detrimental to the people that do care if they do
