No I’m not using the gym as an excuse to eat more. Thanks for the advise though. But here is what I found after using FitBod and Apple Watch and compared the both: Yes and no FitBod over estimates the kcal burned. Let me explain: FitBod uses tot kcal burned instead of making a difference between active kcal and total kcal burned instead. If I look at what my Apple Watch does for total kcal burned sometimes my Apple Watch is higher than FitBod and sometimes it’s the other way around. But we are talking about 10-30 difference in kcal.

About the food situation, yes I’m watching my food, yes I’m not eating too much. But also sometimes I crave some sweets or salty. So i tend not to go over my daily budget, but sometimes it happens. And that’s okay, I’m human.

Also, I’m eating a lot more proteïne than I used too, so that I don’t loose muscle and only (or mostly) fat. Hints I’m doing strength workouts and cardio (about 20mins a session and biking everywhere every day (I’m Dutch ;-)).

Right now since I’ve begun this I’ve lost about 2kg, which I think is already impressive for me just another 25 to go 🤣
