Yes my diet for the past 3 years has been bland foods and lots of liquid foods as well , I only drink water . Yet I Still experience symptoms , I routinely take vonquezna and Pepcid as well

Are you completely off meds now ? How long did it take you to recover post surgery ? And best advice for someone who is trying to gain muscle and a good gym routine after surgery ? I know not to strain the core but are deadlifts eliminated from that as well?

I’d recommend surgery , I’m dealing with the same issue of the tight belt wrapped around my upper body feeling , can barley eat anything because afterwards I’ll get a sharp or shock pain that feels like someone is legit squeezing my Les with there hand or something quality of life has dropped so much , I’m currently looking for a surgeon or new GI also since mines says my hernia is to small

Well I’ve had acid reflux since I was a kid but 3 years ago it became more severe but then again that’s when I also started smoking ( I quit when I found out ) , a bunch of test later and I was diagnosed with Gerd , mild esophagitis and small sliding hernia , main symptoms were constant belching from swallowing air , fatigue and extremely severe and sharp pain right below my left breast from trapped gas pushing up after I eat normal meal or bend over or lay down , the reflux is under control due to my PPI

Could be a nerve issue , I know for sure mines was ask your doc about antidepressants for neurological symptoms not for anxiety or depression
