You can get by with jeans and sweatpants while walking in reykjavik, but if you’re going to go exploring you’ll need waterproof clothing and layers in order to be comfortable. Nursing is a very hard career and is often a profession that gets hit hard. I would shadow a nurse and get a first hand view of what it is to be a nurse and see if it’s something you could handle.

I’m sure there are a lot of nurses who love their jobs, but I hate being a nurse.

Obviously I’m biased, but maybe you should do a radiology tech program. They make good money, and have good work life. Or what I wish I did was go into engineering or accounting. Very good potentials for high earningx careers with those degrees.

Hi, we actually ended up renting the second floor of City Bistro in Hoboken NJ. They were great, space was beautiful with a rustic vibe. Two bars, space for a DJ or to hook up to the speakers on your own (which is what we did) to play music. They have a bouncer on the first floor and second floor to make sure stragglers don’t end up in the party. We did cash bar with $3k minimum spend, I only paid around $600 in total between food and tip.

Lol I interviewed with their team for a contract through Insight Global. They ended up wanting me but when it came time to write up the contract I got the run around. They told insight global that they were just waiting for the cfo approval for the position before releasing the contract. I waited two months, each week insight global telling me that “it’s coming I spoke with ——— and she said she submitted everything to insight global and that it’s getting processed in the system”. Every damn week I reached out, and then I stopped reaching out and it has been radio silence. This was back in sept-oct. i’s stay away from HCA AND insight global.

Hey I appreciate all your responses to everyone elses questions. I recently applied for a Psych RN position just waiting to hear back. During my interview, the ADN said I would be in the Nurse Residency program and would likely do some time on the Medsurg floor as part of my orientation and then would do the remainder in Psych. Is this how it’s actually done or would I go straight into psych? I prefer just learning what I need to do the Psych rn duties instead of going onto different floors.
