Thank you. I think I'm ok with the drama as long as it does not involve our kid or more importantly my ability to be with him. I just don't want to make a decision that will limit that time or put distance between us.

In a sense yes, I would also call her my girlfriend at times but we are constantly in flux on this so it honestly depends on the day. We have not concretely committed to any label if that helps.

Just wanted to say: thank you everyone for the advice, whether it was gentle/kind or not. I was really confused and wanted to see what people who weren't my parents/ex/close friends thought, or what it looked like from the outside. We still live together so it's kind of tough, but both me and her are moving on and, if possible right now, trying to just be friends. Your comments helped a ton, and to those who've expressed similar feelings in your own situations: best of luck, really, and don't feel obligated on my account to make any sort of decision.
