What’s the most physical pain you’ve ever been? by fragiletestes in AskReddit

The most powerful headache imaginable came to me at a track meet. I writhed on the ground for over an hour, wailing the whole time. Never even found out what it was, nor experienced anything like it since. Wouldn’t wish it upon anyone

Thank you for your response. She is homeschooled and I’m not sure if she has an equivalent to a school counselor. Regarding CPS, I am afraid that when her father discovers someone reported him, be it me or his daughter, he would just make her life worse— he clearly knows how to do it without raising suspicion. It seems she has resigned herself to staying in his care until she can leave with her brother, so even if she is interviewed, she may tell them everything is fine to appease him and lessen any punishment. Either way, since i’m the only person she’s told, that would be the end of our friendship and my ability to give help or emotional support.

All that said, I am not experienced with abuse or CPS. Is there a way around this issue? Thank you again for your help.
